If you have a Canon "R" series mirrorless camera, and still want to use your EF lenses, you need this adaptor. Works great, supports the features of the lenses. You can just buy one and swap between your RF lenses or buy one for each RF lens.

I was a bit skeptical about the compatibility issues that I may face due to the adopter, but as of now even after 6 months of use, never encountered any flaws, except one or twice there was an random error message while using SD card from Sony camera i remember. Well worth, so i do not need to buy all set of new lenses.

Easy to attach adapter that you forget is even there. The price seems a little high, but better than buying new lenses.

This works perfectly with the CanonR5 and using the old Canon lenses. I would recommend it.

In order to use you ef and ef-s lenses with your new canon EOS R6 this is a must have item! Easy-to-use! First attach it to your lens then attach to your camera. Make sure your camera off when attaching the adapter and lens to your camera.

It does not work for my camera. I have a mirrorless cannon so this does work for me but it does fit, I just can't use it nor return it :(

If you're new to the Canon R/RP and already have a collection of EF/EF-S glass, this is a must have accessory. I got it in a kit with my RP and it works flawlessly (as expected) with my EF lenses. The focus is lightning fast and accurate even with my first generation 24-105 F4 L lens.

I went from a canon DSLR to a mirrorless camera. This adapter works seamlessly with my DSLR lenses. Very happy with this purchase.

It’s solid, that pretty much sums up my review. So far so good, as I haven’t run into any issues with the adapter ring with any of my canon lenses.

I bought this to adapt lenses to an R5 MK2. I'm not impressed. I have 3 lenses I mostly use. An EF 16-35 II F2.8. That one is ok but I replaced it with the compatible 15-35 because of the IS. I have a 100-400 that performs poorly with this adapter. The lens IS doesn't work at all and I can't tell if the in camera one does. Third I have a 24-70 F2.8. This lens has not been used a lot and doesn't work at all with the adapter on the R5 MK2. I get an error o1 lens and camera not communicating clean contacts. The clean contacts message is ridiculous to begin with. Canon service described why and suggested service. Of course. This lens works perfectly with the 5D MK4 I purchased it for. I'd think about getting the more expensive adapter but so far I can't find anything telling me what is different about them.

This free add on when I purchased my Canon EOS R to allow use with my EF lens. It works as described but ended up buying the adapter with control ring.
