This is a wonderful lens - discreet, versatile - it is the one that lives on my camera. The photo quality is beautiful. If you do a lot of close ups - this one delivers. The price is very good for the quality. It is a perfect pairing for the Canon M50 Mark ii. Recommended!

Great for pictures with blurred background! Not so good with video, good for landscapes again not so good for filming in doors in small spaces ... it’s definitely not a flogging lens.
It’s super small though!

What an amazing, high quality portrait lens. Great for EF mount cameras like the EOS M6 that I use. While it has no zoom, the focus is fast and accurate and allows for great bokeh in portrait photos. I have used it for months and am very impressed with the quality of portraits it provides.

My favorite first Prime lens for my M50 Mk II

This was my favorite first prime native lens for my Canon EOS M50. I purchased this when I bought my M50 MKII with the kit lens. Combined with EFM 32mm f/1.4, this lens makes for one of the best combos for street photography on the M50. When I'm on a pinch, this also serves as the perfect lens to mount my m50 when I use it for zoom calls.

Excellent lens for vlogging and photos for the Canon M50. This lens lets in more light in your videos and gives a wider background. Also gives a nice scene blurring out the background. It has a good auto focus as long as you face your Canon M50 is on auto focus.

Great lens overall. I use this on my Canon M50 mk. I and it works great. Use it for both video and photography. Has good overall sharpness and good bokeh levels. It’s just such a shame that Canon doesn’t care too much about EF-M at this point. Still wondering if EF-M as a platform will still be around in 5 years.

Love this lens. It takes beautiful portraits and great snap shots. It’s great in low light from a beginners perspective. I was able to get it 100 off. It was shipped promptly and I received it before it was supposed to arrive.

The depth of field is very good on this device. Likely not for vlogging full body on an M50, it will teach you why upgrading to full frame cameras is a thing. I use it for doing videos and it is a big step up from the 15-45mm lens. I enjoy it.

Love this little lens! It makes for a great fast prime to go along with the kit zoom lens for any Canon M series camera. So small & light that you can just pop it in your pocket.
