I really wasn't sure if I wanted to spend this much money on a lens, but it was well worth it!!! The photos it takes are super nice and the zoom function is so convenient.

I love this lens , didn't want to spend the money but I do like having the best so I went ahead and did it. Do not regret it one bit. I take a lot of pictures of my grandchildren and they are great pics. Taken some recent pictures of some flowers and very nice color. If your thinking of buying , get it you won't regret it.

This lens is seriously a complete game changer and so universal! I use it for almost everything!

I got my few weeks ago and got it on 2/5 and just unboxed it to use it for a shoot today and it's scratched ..so today is my return date guess I will figure out how to use it scratched. Other than that I'm super excited to use it.

Great lens, but expensive. I have been using it non-stop and don't see it coming off of my camera for a long time. Its versatility was the key selling point for me. On the heavy side, and bigger than expected, but nothing to deter me from using for a long day of photography

Great lens with complete interchangeability between the whole canon dslr line. I bough this lens for my Rebel T3I but I decided to go for broke with this lens even though the camera isn't the top of the line like the lens. I have the intention to upgrade the camera body in the future but I had to chose one or the other, and the lens adds more quality to the photo than the camera body so I opted for that. The lens fits like it should, a lot heavier than my other lens but that's to be expected with a quality lens. Picture quality is great and the appeature is amazing the whole zoom length. My only complaint is the price. But you get what you pay for and this lens is no exeception. If you do plan on purchasing this lens I would definitely recommend purchasing a nice camera strap. Using the one you get with your camera will destroy your neck with the extra weight of this lens. Getting a over the should strap is a easy and affordable solution.

Versatile, strong, durable and in my short time as a photographer the best all in one lens out there. Yes it's expensive but it supports and excels in all the photography in currently doing. Nightlife events, portraiture, headshots and weddings .

When comparing images taken with a lower level lens, you can see a substantial difference in image quality. With this lens, you get tack sharp images, and the focal speed of this lens is insane and very accurate. I had the generation before this series and There is a noticeable difference on how fast the lens gets into focus when shooting a moving subject like an athlete or a young squirmy child. Collects a ton of light with very little noise. It's worth the price because you'll be able to charge more for the quality of your prints. If you're looking to get into stock photography, any L Series lens will greatly assist you in getting images accepted.
