Based on the suggestion of a well knowledge sales associate I picked this one up and would highly recommend. I do not have a lot of experience using it yet but pleased with the results to date.

This was my first lens purchase to have something other than my kit lenses. I have been very happy with it and have really appreciated the bigger aperture capabilities.

This is a great affordable prime lens. The 50mm length is used often in portraits and the price point of the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM is reasonable for the shallow depth of focus it provides.

Great product for the price. Smaller gram but pictures are crystal clear!!! For the price you should have this in your bag at all times!

If you are looking to have a nice background blur in your portrait pictures this lens its what you need, also the STM make this lens really quite if you are recording video, cheers.

best overall sense for that price you can't go wrong! this lens will take your photography skills to another level. it does good in low light situations with a low appeture.

Bought it for my Canon 5D2. Had one in the past but lost it. This takes great pictures. Was a good option for me cause I bought it for our family vacation. Can't go wrong for the price.

Great little lens. great quality lens and is great for portraits. With the F1.8 it has worked great for me on some Aurora shoots. We'll see how it does on our next vacation.

They call it the nifty fifty for a reason! I mostly use it for portraits! The f1.8 gives a beautiful background blur. It's my first prime lens and it's great, especially at only $125!

I found this lens to be great for portraits and has a wide range latitude. I have used it for video as well and gives a very nice cinematic touch to videos

This lens is amazing. It's always on my camera. Focus is really quick and quiet. One of the main reasons I got this was for the bokeh effect it has and I was not disappointed.

I love this lens. I use it on a T7i so it magnifies a little extra due to it being a full frame lens on a crop sensor camera. Excellent for portraits!

Im a newbie to the photography life, but knew this would be my first lens to purchase other than the kit lens and it was worth it. small and not bulky, crystal clear photos. worth it.
