It was what I expected from Canon for this price range and level of lens: solid construction, clean optics. The action is not as smooth as the out-of-box 18-55mm DSLR lens, but it works just fine. That's the only reason why I'm giving it 4/5 stars.

I bought this lens for lens extender which is only compatible for it works good I good it's To bad there is no 400 lens for few 100 more anything higher I reserached for is 500 or more

This is a nice compliment to my Canon EOS T3 camera. The lens came in a kit and I have used it many times. It is a nice camera lens for a starter lens, however I plan on upgrading to a similar size lens with IS (Image Stabilization) when I can afford it.

This lens really helped me out when I was shooting basketball. Although a telephoto would have made it more clear and less grainy.

I use this lense for shooting birds far off. Great buy worth the money spent if you want a shot but can't get too close up.

I love this lens because it can pick up so much detail from so far away. I would recommend this product to any photographer looking to take their hobby/job to the next level!

It was a little difficult at the beginning to use. But with a little practice and YouTube tutorials it's become much easier. This lens is definitely worth the buy.

Good lense with image stabilization. I needed a lense to capture my kids’ sports. A more powerful lense would be better.

This lens is more of a beginners lens but it’s worth buying if you can’t afford the higher dollar value ones.

This is a fabulous zoom lens that I was fortunate to get at a great price. Pleasantly surprised at the clarity of objects that I am able to focus on from a distance.

Needing greater magnification or enlargement capability before the picture is captured, a telephoto lens is a great addition to the camera. Moderate telephoto capability with convenient size and weight.

I'm not a professional but this lens does everything that I was hoping for. I base this on the amount of money I have invested in it. Good choice for me!

Love the fact that it is so easy to change lenses! This lens is great for taking sports photos while sitting in the bleachers. Would definately recommend this lens!

Love the lens. Takes great action photos. I take photos of my girls horse shows and love the photos with this particular lens. . I would recommend purchasing ..

the lens build and quality is good for its price, but without image stabilization its not much you could do with it without a tripod, which makes the use a bit restricted.

happy to finally have the missing link to my Canon

So far we are happy with the lens but the f-stop only goes down to 4. Will need an F 2.8 lens to take decent indoor sports photos (without a flash).
