It does what it does. Shoots good long distance but i dont really take many photos like that. But its good to have when i do and i like the bokeh it creates at the long focus distance. Got it as a black friday package so i will keep it for a while i suppose although in the past didnt have much use for it.

New to photography, this lens is a pleasant addition to my camera bag.

This Lens is just "OK" if your taking photo's outdoors in the sunlight. But if you find yourself shooting in low light situations then this is definitely not the lens you want

Good lens for distance and extreme close up shots.

At this price, you don't get electronic stabilization. So a tripod is essential for clear shots at extreme zooms. If you want a useable zoom lens for hand-held use, get a better lens than this one.

Came with package, but we will probably need to buy one with image stabilization.

I like this lens only because it's my first tele lens. However, it's basic and I know you can spend a lot more money on a tele lens. It does what I need it to do for me as a beginner/casual user.

This is a decent starter lens. If you plan on professional use then this isn't for you.

I expected the depth of the zoom to be a little longer. It is pretty good!
