Good lens for the money, clear photos, easy to use.

I needed a large zoom to help take pictures at a Tough Mudder race. This worked great! I could zoom in really close on the runners without getting covered in mud. If you are stuck up in the stands for a kids sporting event, this will get you the shot you want. I kept my normal lens with me and used it for the closer shots.

I love this lens. I have gotten some fantastic shots of on-stage performances even from as far as 20 rows back. The only issue I have is that it's heavy and I tend to shake a little when I'm trying to hold it up and catch fast-moving action. Other than that, it's a great lens. I used it for close-ups on the sports field, in an auditorium, and at family events outdoors. It has not let me down.

Good lens to bring the subject closer. Easy on and off. Very easy to use.

Came with Black Friday bundle got it for much less on Black Friday than if I would've brought it during another time. Glad I did spend the extra $50 for the camera bundle because I don't realize I needed this lens until I got it and tried it out. It works great for taking photos from a big distance.

This lens is great for shooting objects further away and getting detailed close ups. I used this lens the most so far on a camping trip and it allowed me to capture some wildlife pictures that I would have never gotten without it.

When I first started photography I have no clue of what to buy so this was my first lens that I purchased and I still use it till this day it is amazing I would recommend it to any and everyone beginner or expert you’ll love it

This lens gets you really close in. You have to be careful with focusing, because it's easy to mess up. And a tri-pod is a good idea. This can give you great zoom, if you have the discipline for it. I would have liked something smaller, though, like 18-135, or maybe even 55-250. And image stabilization would help.

Unless you are a hard-core pro photographer, this lens will to the trick for you if you need a mid range zoom lens. It's not a wide-angle zoom, but doesn't claim to be. So if you are looking for a good mid-range zoom lens at a great price, buy this lens and check it off of you "needed lens" list.

Because this lens doesn't come with the image stabilizer (the smaller 18mm-55mm that comes with the camera has that) and if you want to use it to it's full zoom ability you really do need a tripod or at the very least monopod.

I bought the Canon package as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. He was going on a trip to visit family and wanted a camera to take with him. He was really excited to have the telephoto lens, and the clarity is awesome. He said it was the best gift he has ever received!

This lens was inexpensive and a great tool for photos!

I bought this to go with my Canon Rebel T5. I took amazing pictures for a 1 year olds birthday party and they were stunning. Learning more about the different lens but I feel comfortable using it.

Excellent product, would recommend, easy to switch out between lenses

I bought this lens to go with my Canon EOS Rebel T3i. It has great zoom but if you don't balance the camera on a solid surface or have a tripod the picture comes out blurry. Even if I was leaned up against something, it was really hard to get a clear picture. I ended up returning it and getting the 55-250mm lens which has the image stabilizer. Worth the extra money for clear, non-blurry pictures.
