The images come out crisp and clean, but the image stabilization would have been a big plus for the lens. Other than that, the pictures come out fine when taken correctly. Although having a tripod is probably best recommended if you don't necessarily have a steady hand.

After buying it and got home and it was broke called and best buy ordered me a new replacement. Great lens. Takes great shots. Took some of the sun and wouldn't trade this lens for anything

This lens is great for distance. I bought it primarily to get pictures of my cousins graduation since you always sit so far back in the convention center.

I purchased the telephoto lens for my Canon T7i and could not be more pleased. It is perfect for getting clear images of wildlife and landscapes.

For zoomed in video you will need a tripod since it doesn’t have the image stabilization that the lens that came standard with the EOS80 has. Otherwise I am really happy with this lens especially for the price.

Great job Cannon. Love this Lens. Great for sports, graduation ceremonies and all the places you can't get close to. Clear imaging.

The price for the lens was kind of high but at the end it was well worth it because I was able to get some really good close ups and beautiful images.. So I guess you pay more for a good quality item...

Love this lens for Drag racing to get those down track pics. Like it for those far away football shots too!

I want to get good action shots of my kids playing sports. I want great pictures from the side lines or stands that make you feel that you are right in the action. This lens does that and more

Takes great photos from far. Definitely comes in handy at my kid's sporting events.

My 16 year old grandson has started taking photography and this lens coupled with his canon camera produced excellent shots. He has already made money for some of the pictures. Love it

i use this lens a lot for sports photography and i get a lot of amazing shots now that i wasn't able to get before with other lenses. once i got the hang of it, it quickly became my go-to lens.
