My daughter and I bought this to get better wildlife shots. Works great. Able to get many pictures of deer and bears while safely viewing from the car. Highly recommend

I used this to capture live pictures and video from a college football game and the quality was outstanding. The lens also appears to be pretty durable/forgiving. Like an idiot I dropped from about three feet and there was zero damage. Granted the floor was carpeted and one should always be careful with this kind of product; however, it is nice to know it is somewhat forgiving.

I would suggest this lens because you don't have to be so close to the image for it to look good! I found that with the small lens the higher you go up with the numbers the more blurry I found it to get! But this one is awesome! I don't have that with this!

I like the clear pictures even at a distance but the lens was a little hard to focus on manual and automatic. I took pictures at my sons graduation and had a hard time getting the shots to not be blurry at first. It felt like the automatic focus could not find it's target. I switched to manual focus and got clearer pictures but still had a lot of blurry ones in the mix. I believe this is will be an excellent lens but it will take some practice to use.

So easy to use and zooms up nice and clear. Great for hiking

this is a perfect companion for the rebel. gives you lots of options. greats for vacation pictures.
