It's a really good lens I'm able to capture insects a lot more proficiently compared to my old lens. Whenever I use this lens to capture insects or tiny objects they come out with great quality. I'm satisfied with this product overall. The only negative thing I have to say about this lens is I thought that the price was a bit much but other than that great lens.

I got these when they were on sale for $200. Normally they’re about double that price, I think. My friend had just rented out this exact lens for 2 days for $200 so I think it’s a pretty good deal. Bought just before a trip to Europe and I absolutely loved the shots it takes from such a far location.

Got this lens bundled with a new Canon SL1 because I wanted to cover as much zoom range as possible starting out. This lens fits the bill, but without image stabilization it can get a bit fuzzy in low light. It also weighs a ton. Still, you get a great discount if you bundle, so I'm not sweating it, and now I can zoom in like crazy on stuff.

Bought this lens with purchase of my new Ti3 camera. Real solid and well built. I was hesitant because reviews talked down about not having an image stabilization mode. My pictures still turn out beautiful and blurry free even without a tripod.

I just got the Rebel T5i w/18-135 lens but wanted to add a zoom lens with greater distance. I needed to balance distance and budget and this lens seemed to be a good choice. I took some low light distance photos and they are pretty decent. The only thing I would change is I wish it had image stabilization. I am new to this type of shooting so with time I expect to get even better results.
