I will say I am just starting out learning photography. I chose this camera over the less expensive ones because I wanted to be able to grow into it. I have already learned the manual options and it’s been about a month. Very user friendly. I got the 18-135 Lens with it and it has taken some great photos for me. I would definitely recommend this camera! The photo posted was taken handheld with the 18-135mm.

Just upgraded to the Canon 80D. Quality is very obvious! I take sport photography of my kids and their teams and the photos are very sharp and quality is awesome! I am not a professional photographer an am just a parent with a camera. I get a lot of compliments on my photos and get mistaken as a professional. =) Camera is easy to use as the on screen instructions on the camera make using it so much easier!

This camera is awesome. The lens on it is spectacular. The feel of the camera is like holding a piece of machinery that you're going to build a bridge with. It's amazing. The only thing about this camera is that it's heavy. Find a good bag for it too. Other than that, it's the best camera to buy out there if you want a good camera with a lens. Cheers!

I've used Canon cameras for years, ever since the first DSLR cameras came out. I had the accessories (lenses, flash, etc.) so moving up to the 80D was an easy decision. The camera provides all the controls I need or want, yet could be easily used by a just about any skill level. It's a nice size and weight, easy to take along, but it certainly won't fit in a pocket. Photos are sharp and detailed.

I have to say that I was going to get a Nikon that was equally matched to this one. But I loved the feel of the canon better. Maybe because of my hands, but the quality is outstanding as well! Touch screen, and plenty of help to get you started with such a well known camera. Photos come out great. Denfintly worth it if you just wanna spend medium amount on a camera.

This camera is amazing. I was using a canon T2i before. I love that I can hook it up to my phone and use my phone as a remote. You can adjust settings and touch the spot you want it to focus on. The only thing you can't do is zoom from the phone. This camera is heavier than my other one. The lens that came with it is amazing also. It runs very smooth. You don't hear it focusing. I love this camera.

I finally broke down and bought this camera after roughly 6 months of shopping. I knew i wanted a canon, just couldn't figure out which one to get. Both of my sisters have canon cameras and love them, after consulting with them it was a easy decision to get the 80D. Awesome quality pictures, easy to use great all around camera. I highly recommend this!

Canon - EOS 80D Dslr Camera With 18-135mm Is USM Overall fairly pleased with the 80D. Only thing is I should have paired it with a faster walk around lens. The 18-135 that comes as the standard kit lens is fine but maybe I should have sprung the big bucks for the CANON 17-55mm f/2.8 EF-S IS USM as a faster prime zoom. I will wind up buying a faster lens in the future for lower light situations. Video is surprisingly good. Don't skimp on the supplemental microphone though. Don't forget to buy a sync cord as the camera doesn't come with one.

I purchased this camera to upgrade my Rebel T5i series.. The canon EOS 80D with the USM lens produces the images with great quality. I really love this camera.. When you see the image quality.. you feel its worth for the money you put on this camera.

Wife absolutely loves this camera. We have two kids active in sports, and she wanted to upgrade from her 5 year old Sony camera set up. She hasn't done much besides action shots at baseball/softball games, and a few family gatherings, but she is very pleased with the picture quality, and ease of use.

I've used a Canon 60D for several years, but I wanted to be able to connect to wireless (note that my 60D didn't have wireless b/c it was purchased a few months before Canon started adding that feature to its cameras). This camera gave me that, plus some really sweet advances that make it a better camera for shooting film than my 60D. While I would still recommend the 60D for people who may find the price on this camera more than they want to spend. But, this camera is a great camera for experienced photographers and newbies as well. The features make the menu a little more complex than the 60D, but the manual is easy to use and the wireless capacity is fantastic. The kit lens makes sharp pictures in all but low light/high speed situations. I would, however, recommend turning the wireless off when you aren't using it b/c it does drain the battery much faster than normal shooting does. This is also a great camera for someone who wants to shoot film as well as photos. Many of the best updates/new features are most noticeable when shooting film.
