Easy to learn Great features to take various types of pictures

I did a lot of research on digital cameras with solid video recording capabilities. This is my first non-point-&-shoot camera, so all the tech specs were a bit overwhelming. One thing I promised myself is that I wasn't going to buy a DSLR as a point-&-shooter; I needed to actually use all the bells & whistles. I've only used the camera for a couple of weeks. I took it on a wildlife cruise - along with the manual. I took a few hours to read the manual to understand what this camera could do. I then went out the next day on a great whale watching adventure and got some great shots. I absolutely love the continuous shutter feature. I ended up with lots of shots I need to delete, but I also captured "the" shot I was looking for in each instance. I still haven't taken any serious videos with it yet, but I suspect I will be pleased with the results. I've got a couple of photography books I'm going to work through to become more proficient with this camera. I'm excited I now have a tool to help me up my photo/video game.

I'm switching from a Canon 20D and the difference is just incredible. Picture clarity, photo information, it's exactly what I wanted.

This camera package is actually more than I had expected. I would have been satisfied with just being able to take still shoots.The ability to do 1080 movie quality with great audio blows me away.It can take action shoots such as sporting events.The device will snap shoots faster than anyone can manually click.

If you are ready to make the move to the intermediate camera market, this is the camera for you. It has "ALL" you need to enhance both your photo and video. In addition, even with all of the funcionality it is light and compact. A GREAT PURCHASE!

I watched multiple YouTube videos and read reviews online for months before making this investment but I can now say after having this camera for a month or so that I absolutely love it! I would recommend this camera to anyone trying to make great content and be creative with awesome quality from this camera!

If you are looking for a camera that can shoot great video without having to spend $2k, then this is the camera for you! You don’t have to do much in order to get accurate colors and skin tones. I highly recommend this camera to anyone just starting out.

I love this camera. it feels so good to the touch it's strong and durable. comes with the new 18-135 lens kit recommend to get the bundle if you can best bang for your buck I think. great picture quality and just a great camera if you're not trying to break the bank.

This is by far the best camera that I have used. Now I have a lot of learning to do but it has elevated my pictures and videos to the next level. It is a large camera so I will be looking at a second unit that is smaller and I can carry everywhere that I do not want to lug it around

This camera will probably take a bit of getting use to after owning a 5D. I purchased as I am now doing more videography. So far the camera has performed as expected and I look forward to using it more. Video quality is excellent and sound quality is equally good.

I bought this as a gift for my wife and she loves it. Canon is her preferred choice for the past 15 years. With all the features on this camera there is a learning curve, it is also heavy. But that is to be expected at this level of camera. I would recommend it.

Although it is missing 4K, the package deal and the quality for the photos and 1080p video is awesome. Well worth the purchase, even in 2019.

I could go on and on, but at the end of the day, I bought this camera for its versatility. I shoot stills and movies in the same settings. It has delivered. It is well conceived and packaged. The menus are clear and it delivers quite good images. I am pleased.
