This is a great package. Pros: The feature set is amazing, picture quality is amazing, and the lens adaptor opens up a world of possibilities for my existing lens investment. Also extremely compact. Two cons, but not show stoppers for me: Slow FPS : only 4.5 FPS max shutter Menu system not consistent with other eos product members Ok, one more minor con: no quiet mode on the shutter.

This is an amazing camera if you like making wide angle videos for YouTube as long as you purchase the 10 to 16MM Canon lens to go along with it. The picture is perfect and the camera works really well in low light. I definitely recommend it! The only thing I didn't like was the complexity of the settings. The reason why iPhones and Samsung Camera phones are so popular is because they take the guessing game out of the mix with great software. Canon and Sony need to figure out a way to do that too!

Nice camera very simple to use it and has great type of lens. I decide for this camera because I like very much canon lens, I have some lens that use a lot and I needed for my job another one also the people who works in Best Buy help me to decide what kind of lens could be better for I'm looking for.

The Canon EOS m3 mirror less is a PERFECT camera to vlog. You don't even need to really mess with the pre settings to get a good shot. Whether it be picture or video. Love this camera especially the feature of the mirror less lense.

Purchased this camera, to take on our family vacation. Mostly because I didn't feel comfortable taking my nice big camera. I enjoyed having this and with the adapter, I was able to take my other canon lenses. The photos came out great, I was able to relax and enjoy.

After reading a great deal of camera reviews I decided to purchase this camera. Up to this point I am extremely happy with the performance of this camera. In addition, it is a great camera for a beginner, such as myself, and a great camera for the price.

Up until this purchase, I've only point and shoot cameras. I've been intimidated about buying a DSLR, but this is a great camera for someone just starting out. The photos I've taken are amazing. I can't wait to learn more!

This is very likely the camera I've been looking for. It is lightweight ... One pound and behaves as a DSLR without all the weight. The local Canon representative told me about it.

This camera with adapter can use all my Canon EF, EFS and M lenses making this a viable option for those who own any Canon EOS camera's and lenses. The camera itself is small enough to carry in a small bag with "M" lenses. Typical Canon crop sensor, outstanding color rendition and ISO range. The only downside is slow focus (my 40D focuses faster), This is due to lack of low contrast sensitivity. Many options including manual focus with "focus peaking". Try handeling the M3 before you buy to see if it a good fit in your hands. Despite a few downsides I am quite happy with my purchase

Purchased this camera for my dad who is 78 years old. He would like to have a DSLR but it is just too big for him and not easy for him to see through the window. With this Camera, you can switch different Canon lenses and you can modify speed and aperture. Photo is still taken slower than a DSLR but we think it is good enough. The only concern is the location for the dial on the right which easily be touched unintentionally.

I was shopping for a canon mirrorless camera and was split between M5 and M6. When I saw M3 is on sale and is only half of what M5 is, it was an easy decision to go with M3. The included EF-EFM adapter is by itself a $200 value. Most of the reviewers are not happy with the focusing speed which I did not find it to be an issue. Since this purchase, I have added on EF 50MM F1.8 and EF-S 24mm F2.8 to my arsenals.

I happen to be a Canon DSLR owner with many lenses. The M3 has an adapter to use all my EF, EFS lenses. The M3 was at the time a great buy with the adapter and a M lens. Glad I purchased as the camera is a great compact mirrorless unit that function very much like most Canon DSLR's.
