I purchase this camera for my high school son because he was interested in photography and he loved it. This camera is so user friendly that almost anyone can pick up the camera and begin taking pictures so clearly and precisely. Its almost as if the camera itself guides you to take great pictures. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone who's starting out or just enjoys taking great pictures.

Photography has been a hobby of mine for years and the Canon Rebel cameras are very easy to use and works great in almost every situation.

I received a Nikon lens upgrade for Christmas and for several reasons, I did not like the lens. (heavy, bulky, picture quality at full zoom fair). I had a set amount in mind I was willing to spend. I happened across this Canon bundle while browsing the site and after reading many reviews decided to give Canon a try. I could get this bundle for the same price of the Nikon lens I was returning. This bundle came with a 250mm lens which shoots further than my existing Nikon lens. I have to say, I have been more than pleased at the quality of pictures right off the camera without any editing. The color is far more vibrant than my Nikon and the pictures look amazing. The camera if very easy to use and fits well in my hands. I would recommend this camera again and again. Thanks Canon! I read lots of reviews about this camera, comparing it to another one that was a little cheaper. Decided to go with the Canon for the touchscreen and the swivel-out screen. Not sorry I chose it! Took some great photos over Christmas and I only just started learning how to use some of the features. Easy from the beginning and awesome pictures! But I could use 6 months and REALLY learn a lot of the intricacies that would boost the quality of the shots. Happy with my purchase!

Excellent for a beginner, it was either this or the Nikon of equivelent pricing and I chose this camera simply because of its ease of use. I love the AV setting I can blur the background of any photo on the spot really fast! One down side, it didn't come with wifi but that problem was solved quick with the wifi SD card (eyefi). Love this camera and couldn't be happier!

I went from another major brand camera to this one because of the easier to use features. This is the perfect camera for the beginner photographer. It is easy to use and has many features that are intuitive to what one is trying to accomplish. One of these features is the ability to adjust the depth of firld after taking the shot. This can also be done thoough the viewfinder. Your able to preview the result of your adjustments for DOF. The lenses give sharp results with beautiful color. I don't think you can beat the T5i for the money.

Being new to photography I was looking for a simple camera which was easy to use and provided high quality images. Canon T5i is just that and much more. Perfect little companion for all the travel needs so that you dont miss out on all the wonderful memories that you want to relive for years to come! A great buy.

This is a great camera for beginners as well as the most advanced pro. It's automatic enough for the beginner and has loads of settings to get the shot you want if you want to set your own settings. With the two lenses that come with it you have a wide range of ability for just about any shot.

The EOS line of Canon cameras is great; however, the T5i is awesome. Since then, the T6i has been released but I am more than happy with this purchase. The addition of the touch screen really helps with menu navigation especially in between shots. I'd prefer to have more user programmable modes but a few is just fine. The creative filters are nice to have although I don't use them as often. Battery length is good. I should be receiving my eye-fi card soon so I'm unsure of how well it works and how fast the buffering process is but I am very happy that this camera has that capability. I highly recommend this camera and I plan to keep mine for a long time. The photo I've uploaded is just a photo of the display (which is great.) It is a shot of a seagull I took with the 55-250mm IS II lens.

This is our first DSLR camera and we are really happy with the quality of the photos in auto mode. There are lot of other manual functions and modes which we have not explored. It is good for experienced photographers too. Touch screen with rotating screen comes handy for selfie too.....

The Canon T5i was an upgrade to a Sony brand dslr camera I have. The difference is truly night and day! I purchased the kit with two lenses, and the lenses are quite sharp. The lenses feel cheap because they are plastic instead of metal (saves some weight too), but the results are anything but cheap. This camera is an excellent choice for anyone getting started into photography, or who just wants an all around good quality camera kit for taking pictures of their children/family. You can definitely achieve some excellent photos with a little practice. My only recommendation would be to read up on how to take photos, and what settings to use, so that you can shoot in one of the manual modes......the better results will be well worth your time!

This camera is very easy to manipulate, even if you don't have an idea of photography, she do everything by herself. Excelent pictureas at night. Little heavy, but great images and great movies too

This is a great camera for those wanting to get into an affordable SLR. The camera is very easy to use for beginners but also has many features allowing users to advance their skills.

Really great camera! I am a beginner with a DSLR and still learning, but It's been easy to use and takes excellent pictures. I can't wait to take it with me to Yosemite this week.

Received this camera $400 off the original price tag and it's wonderful. Came with the extra lens, memory card and carrying case for $50 more than the price of just the camera.
