Great value, works very well.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to my 10 year old Samsung, this thing is a breath of fresh air. I specifically purchased this because I needed a device with duplex ADF scanning. This offers it and it performs very well. Two things I was surprised to see: - The duplex scanning only requires pages to make a single pass. I assume there are 2 scanners in this device. I was expecting the old school mechanism where it runs the page through, pulls it back, then runs it through again. Nope, only a single pass is required. - It has PDF OCR technology, so all the documents I scan for archiving purposes include the ability to search for certain text. OCR isn't new technology, but my older machine didn't have it. I was able to configure Scan to File quite easily; no different than the typical setup required for this type of thing.

ANOTHER LOSS OF TIME
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer seems like a piece of trash. It clunks like pieces of metal clanging together. I just pulled the paper tray out to add paper now the tray won't go back in. I went on Canon's website to download software. The only thing that downloaded was the print feature --- not the scan. I should know better than buying outdated printers trying to save money. Now I have to wait til tomorrow. Call Canon for help. If they take care of the problem, I can do the work I was going to do tonight after I return from my doctor appointment tomorrow. What a pain in the you know what.

Easy setup. Easy to use
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything is working fine. Setup was easy. No glitches as of yet. Have only had less than a month. The only downside is replacement cartridges seem very pricey. We will see how long this cartridge lasts. I was using a brother all in one that had a lot of glitches especially with connecting over wifi. This one seems to be great so far.

Good printer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup according to the user guide was complicated. Black and white only, but clean, quick copies -- prints much faster than my previous Epson inkjet. Hopefully it will also be cheaper to keep supplied with ink. Scanning is good and fast also.

Canon review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Canon always a good reliable product. However, it took 3 phone calls to Canon to figure out how to work some features. Geek squad not much help and did not return to help as they were asked.

Quick printer
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great printer! I would say sometimes it isn't the most user-friendly and struggles connecting to wifi. But I hooked it up to my laptop to print via the printer cord and it hasn't had a problem. Quick and efficient printing. I do with it has color print options, but efficient nonetheless.

Faxes, copies, NOT selectable as printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good: Looks professional, like a small office copier. Easy to connect to other devices. Copies double-sided. Black and white only but that's okay. Scans, faxes, copies, retains images to copy again. easy to load, easy to set up for the above functions. Bad; Manual is almost worthless. Machine behaves as standalone device, very user-unfriendly UI, fails to populate on system or network scan as a printer, does not take print jobs, Won't load image from computer, won't send image to computer, won't interact with a network except for the nebulous and unfriendly UI, computer OS can't find it as a printer, has to be programmed to not answer phone if you want to use that line for anything else.

Best multi-function all-in-one laser printer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast print, fax and copy -- within seconds. I can't help but compare this CANON MF455dw Wireless all-in-one laser with the HP all-in-one I had previously. This CANON printer is superior in every function. I'm sticking with CANON products from now on.
