Versatile little thing

Only complaint is the touch screen isn't that sensitive if you're used to a smartphone. Have to press kinda hard. Otherwise, top notch camera that is TINY. Great value.

Camera take excellent pictures in good light.

Battery life is pretty good, too, but I recommend a second battery. Video quality is good when there is adquate light and very good when there is ample light. Using the display screen as input takes a little getting used to compared to an iPhone, but works well. Definitely a good purchase for the amount spent.

Bought this camera for the HD recording

I bought this camera for one thing and that is just for the HD video shooting. The reason why I bought it just for the video recording is because I want it to be compact so I can take it to concert without having to carry my camcorder. The video records clear. Here a video that I recorded indoor at a restaurant next to Disneyland. Compact and easy to use

It takes great shots, and in much less cumbersome to use than other digitals that I had. I gave up on my last digital (purchased new), after a year. This canon is far superior.

I've done plenty of research on this camera

It's features are easily functionable Picture quality is as good as i've seen it. And the price of 279.00 was slashed due to the holidays to 198.99. And Best Buy priced match a competitor and gave me an addition 14.60 off the price. For approx 183.00 There's no camera in the market like the ELPH 500.!!!
