Some appreciate its lightweight design, overall performance, WiFi capabilities, and included features. However, some customers have noted that the battery life could be improved, and the flash performance at night is not ideal. A few customers also mentioned that the instructions could be more detailed.

I have been doing photography for over 15 and is an awful camera. I have had 5mp cameras with no optical zoom that shot photos 500 times better than this one. I bought this because I wanted something compact I can take anywhere but that doesn't work if it can't take crisp pictures. There is pixelation in every photo even in good lighting. I will be returning this camera it definitely is just awful and a disappointment.

This is the perfect size travel/pocket point and shoot camera. I got it for my daughter’s recent travel and the pictures she got were so good. She is a teenager, no professional but once she figured it out it was a great companion to capture beautiful moments. Color is accurate and well balanced, video is not the best but I got it for pictures. A lot of people prefer their cellphone to take pictures which they do capture amazing photos and videos, but having a camera, I believe it is better since it’s a device created for pictures, you can swap storage and transfer to your computer. Overall I think this camera is a good camera. Some downsides would be the quality of the video and the battery.

This camera is so easy to use and small enough to carry around and fit into bags easily. I used to have a larger Cannon and can compare the quality of the photos to it, but love the size difference and how small this one is. The settings are easy to change and understand. The WiFi is such a perk!! I can get the photos on my phone so quick. I would totally recommend this to anyone.

Great product! I've owned a few ELPH cameras through the years and this one is as great as the others! Good features for a $210 point-and-shoot camera. Smartphone cameras are catching up in quality BUT Point-and-Shoot cameras are still better because they have a physical zoom lens. This camera has great photo quality, burst mode at about 7 shots a second, good low-light images, decent battery life(Make sure you have at least 2 spare batteries if you're going to be taking photos all day. And it's small and slim which it will easily fit in a pocket or in a small case with spare batteries attached to a belt loop. Overall, a great compact camera. I definitely recommend the ELPH 360 HS over the ELPH 180 or 190 BECAUSE of the HS system, image stabilization(Especially when recording video) It's definitely worth the extra $40 or so. Canon has definitely dominated this market for years and will likely continue to do so for years to come.

    Good Camera for Travel

This camera is small and lightweight. It easily fits in a pants pocket or purse (even a very small purse). I was very happy with how easy it was to carry around and use when traveling. I wish it came with a case though. The large, bright screen makes it easy to compose pictures. Anyone familiar with the Canon Rebel series would find the menus on this camera similar and easy to use. The camera gives you a lot of control in manual settings, but I also found the AUTO mode to be quite effective for most of my needs. I am very impressed with the photo quality, especially the accuracy of colors, like a blue sky. (I have seen other cameras "wash out" a blue sky but not this camera.) The camera also does an excellent job in scenes with high contrast. The photos come out great and require little or no editing. Battery life is excellent and I like that the charger does not have a cord. One less cord to drag around. The charger's prongs fold up, too, so it is very portable. One minor complaint is that I wish the lens had a wider angle in order to take more impressive landscape photos. Another complaint, which causes me to knock one star off the rating, is that the wifi is very clunky. It requires you to download an app onto your computer and sign up for a Canon image service. I would have expected to only need to download an app. Not create some kind of account. The wifi is a useless feature to me and I am happy to continue putting the SD card into my computer or printer slot. Overall this was a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a very portable little camera that has a good zoom and takes great pictures. It is good for travel because it does a great job in a variety of shots, whether you are taking landscape photos, close-ups, or photos of people. I brought this camera along on a trip where I also used my iPhone 6s for some pictures. The Canon ELPH 360 took better pictures, hands-down.

The camera is very intuitive to use. Learning curve was very short, even for our 8 year old. Very light and fits well in your hand. Small enough to put in a purse or in a jacket pocket. It automatically created summary video with music of all the shorts for the day. It was a nice surprise. Also automatically added a copy of your photos in black and white. These special features can be turned off.

I previously had a PowerShot SX120, and this camera (PowerShot ELPH 360 HS) has all of the same features and much more. It does lack a true manual mode, however (allowing the user to set shutter speed and aperture manually). The control buttons on the back are flush with the case, making the camera somewhat difficult to use in very dim light conditions. As with all point-and-shoot cameras that have no viewfinder, the display will be hard to see in direct sunlight. It has a lens cover that opens and closes automatically, which prevents losing a separate lens cap. The camera has connectors on the right side for USB AV out and HDMI interfaces, but they are covered by a cheap plastic cover that is difficult to get open until you file off the catches a little bit. The Li-Ion battery is small (only 800 mAh), and I have not yet determined exactly how long it will last (the manual claims 180 pix). I have only used the USB port to transfer pictures directly to my computer without going through an online service. I have not tried setting up the Wi-Fi interface yet to see if it would be easier to use. This camera has both High Speed Burst mode (about 7.2 pix per second) that will group the pictures and Continuous Shooting Drive Mode, which allows pictures to be taken continuously while the shutter button is held depressed (about 2.5 pix per second; pictures are NOT grouped).

Bought this camera before going on trip to Europe, very glad I did. My pictures turned out better then my phone would have attempted. I liked most how easy and quick it was to set up for a picture, none of that wait 10-15 secs for a shot. Took well over 600 pictures in 2.5 days. The zoom was amazing, was able to zoom all the way up the top of some giant churches and still get a clear picture. Only complaint is the camera doesn't plug into charge, have to take the battery out and plug into an adapter that plugs into AC or the wall outlet.

This is a good camera for both the amateur and experienced photographer. I have been a 35 mm camera user for years, but there are times I do not want to carry all that gear and this is an excellent camera for such times. It's small, light, and easy to use.

This camera was purchased to record YouTube Toy opening and reviews. We didn't want to spend too much since we've invested in a camera for photographing already. So we opted for a simple, compact camera with video capabilities for our toy reviews. So far so good, except my only complaint would be the battery life. I'm used to having my Canon Rebel Eos Xs and rarely ever having to charge it, but this requires a charge with every use it seems. Other than that, it's simple, easy to use and love the auto settings it comes with! Wish the wrist strap had a safety strap to tighten since it is such a sleek camera, I've almost lost it to a pond.

Got this as a christmas gift for my grandfather and cannot be any happy. It's very light, fits easily in the pocket and easy to carry. The photo/video quality is amazing and the shutter speed also adds to a great experience. If you're an amateur photographer, this is one of the best devices to get started. Can also easily be mounted on a tripod and timed to click perfect portrait shots

Love love love this camera!!!!! Easy to use, takes great pictures, fits in my shirt pocket, Battery charges fast....What else do you need. The Canon PowerShot fits into any lifestyle, out and about, camping, hiking, rafting, or any outdoor activities. Works great for indoor fun also, great for parties, ball games and even taking pictures to sell items online. Buy the Canon PowerShot ELPH 360 and I know you won't be disappointed, this is one awesome camera.

This camera is small...I love that it fits in my pocket. It takes good photos and has a great optical zoom for a camera its size. But the button placement can be improved...it's hard to hold it in portrait (especially with one hand) without accidentally hitting the buttons and changing the mode. Battery holds a decent charge but it doesn't last as long as the older Canon Digital ELPHs.

I got this camera in advance of a family trip out of the country. In the past, I'd simply whip out the cell and snap away as it was conveniently always with me anyway; plus I had the added benefit of the pics being immediately backed up in the cloud. But the phone's getting older and I'm not getting the battery life (or storage) I once got out of it, so this camera was meant to lightened the load. Shutter response is slow....from what I've read it's not a design flaw, that's just the way it focuses....but nonetheless a bit of an annoyance when trying to take quick shots. Also, consistent with other reviews I read BEFORE purchasing, it doesn't do the greatest in low-light conditions.....this is really where my cell out shined this camera. At this price point, I would have expected better low-light photos. Even playing around with the scenes, etc didn't seem to make much difference. Works well in outdoor/sunlight environments, but if you take most of your shots indoors you may want to consider another option. Getting to some of the options like flash on/off, scene settings, and toggling between views was a bit cumbersome also compared to even similar cameras I've owned in this class. I should point out that I'm a recreational photographer with two high-end Nikon DSLR's so I'm accustom to a certain level of performance. This camera might be okay for the average person to take on the weekend trip, but definitely not going to be my go-to camera for any event that I'm serious about preserving. Again, sad, because I was hoping it would also be an alternative to lugging the DSLR to my kid's soccer game or a family birthday party.

This is my second Cannon Power Shot camera. This newer version has a larger screen, which I LOVE! I like the extra features on this camera. WiFi option is convenient for transferring photo's.. It takes sharp, clear images! It's small and light-weight to carry in my pocket. Camera is a nice companion to my DSLR camera. I have nothing bad to say about this camera.

I purchased this camera to replace my Nikon Coolpix that started to malfunction. It was a debate between purchasing another Nikon or give Canon a try. So glad that I chose this Canon ELPH 360. I read several of the reviews that were posted on this site and was able to obtain enough information to make my final decision. Prior to purchasing I visited a Best Buy store to get a true feel for this product. I used my new Canon for a trip to Disney World in Orlando. It's super easy to use(just point & shoot) and takes great photos. I ordered the purple color and the color is exactly as pictured. My order was placed online and the process was quick and simple. The camera arrived in the promised time frame and in good condition. Very happy with this purchase.

Ordered this as a replacement for my first Canon P&S (which served me very well). The gripes you'll find with short battery life fail to point out that's an issue only when the wi-fi or GPS feature is enabled. Turned off, and you'll get hundreds of shots even with the flash. Good quality images, great HD video, and a flash that's tough to cover up with a errant finger. The only downside from my previous Canon: I miss the fish-eye lens effect!
