Works fine except for WiFI
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It looked like the camera had a lot of features that I associated with more costly cameras. Unfortunately, they are not well integrated. Some features are available only in full auto. Some features that are available in PASM modes are are not available in full auto.. Its confusing and the PDF manual that I had to download is poorly written. WiFi connectivity to a PC is either too confusing to set up or does not work. Aside from the WiFi issue, most of the other quirks can be absorbed and the camera can do a good job. Inexperienced users purchasing this camera should have a tutor available to guide them through using it in any mode other than full auto.

Great Update
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced my G12 with this G16. It's compact and yet sturdy, nice controls and good layout. Great camera with a lot of manual controls and produces great pictures.

Not a user friendly camera for senior citizens
