Got this to replace my Nikon Coolpix. First hint, get a next strap because if you drop this it is not gonna be good. Tried to do some extreme close-up of plants and flowers and it had trouble focusing. And I don't understand most of the functions. I suppose I could read the instructions. Still trying to figure out how to do stutter shots.. where you try to take a series of pics to catch a good one in motion. Still, no regrets.

Ist is small and light good for a portable (compact) camera. takes decent photos.

Bought this in a hurray just before we left for Spain. Great choice for my particular camera needs. Got great shots and I loved the easy zoom feature. Matt who helped me was knowledgeable and great to deal with.

good lenses, light weight, good grasp. If you want good pictures and don't care for the wifi fixture, this is a great camera. I took it to a hiking trip and it was great to hold for long periods of time. Minus: Low lasting battery. Menu not very intuitive.

This was my first digital camera. It was well within my budget. I am still learning all the mechanics, but it takes good pictures. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a cable to connect it to my laptop so I can download pictures. I will be shopping at BestBuy to obtain one.
