Good battery nice to have a genuine solid spare. Canon EOS R50 can sometimes drain it fast, nice to have a back up on stand by.

Expensive? Yes. The exact right thing? Yes. Nobody said photography was cheap. This will keep me going the next time I accidentally forget to charge the first battery.

Compared to some of the cheaper aftermarket batteries on amazon this original battery lasts longer. But the price is definitely a deal breaker. Very expensive for what it is.

Always buy the genuine battery - third party stuff is likely to disappoint while the real Canon battery hold a long charge and works perfectly with the camera.

Came well packaged and has good battery life, nothing negative to report. I hate that there are no third party options that work with the R8 as this was a bit expensive for my liking.

I needed this for insurance for a vacation trip. Unfortunately I didn't think of this until the time for the was getting very close. I logged into Best Buy and got it with time to spare. Identical to the original in looks. Lasts as long as the original in function. I am very satisfied with the price. I am Extremely satisfied with the fast shipping.

These batteries last for a good couple hours and don't take long to charge at all! I keep them on me at all times for back up.

Purchased as a second battery for my new Canon camera so I can use as needed while the other one charges. I have used Canon batteries for 30 years and have never needed to replace them. I am confident this will hold up as well. There are cheaper options out there but you tend to get what you pay for.

Decent. Not too much to say about it. I used this with my Canon RP. Depending on what and how you shoot, your time will vary. I never used it for video but I used this for regular shooting and got around 400-500 shoots. Shooting with bluetooth on to get Geotagging drained the battery a lot faster. Its not a bad battery, it is just small so it gets eaten quickly. Also a bit pricey. I wouldn't buy full price. Definitely try to price match.
