The Canon 100-400mm lens is a powerhouse for wildlife and sports photography. With its impressive zoom range, sharp optics, and reliable image stabilization, it delivers crisp, detailed shots even at long distances. Autofocus is quick and precise, while the sturdy build ensures durability. A must-have for capturing dynamic, far-off action.

My son plays soccer and my daughter does track; I have been able to capture amazing action photos from far away. A must have for parents with kids in sports... memories will last forever.

I love this lens, it captures quality photos. I love using it to capture moments when my husband is playing soccer. Originally, I got these lens to take pictures of the moon and sunsets, but now I use it for everything.

This is a really good kit lens for me as a beginner. The picture quality is clear and it’s very easy to adjust. I also don’t find it to be bulky or heavy.

Has been working really well for RC airplanes and cars. Seems to stay focused pretty consistently and photos come out nicely. Im not a pro by any means but the difference this has made vs the 55-210 kit lens has been noticeable. Only downside so far is it struggles a bit indoor or in low light conditions.

Crazy good value for this lens. Using with a canon R8. Image quality is incredible and I can’t recommend it enough. I’ve attached a picture below to showcase the quality. This picture was taken from approximately 40-50 feet. I’ve cropped the photo for a better view. Keep in mind BestBuy may compress the photo after I upload it.

very good lens, works very well with nature photography. mechanics are simple and useful. very small width so doesn’t work well with fast moving subjects without good tracking. very light and easy to package. main flaw i found was the zoom dial being a little hard to rotate, not much give.

I was initially skeptic about the quality of this lens, and seeing some posts and edits in Flikr I was not sold. However, I moved forward and tried anyway, and this is today one of my favorite lenses, I have even moved from BW, may favorite kind of photo, to color photos because of this glass. I´m attaching some of the images that I have taken with it, judge for your self.

I purchased this lens to use with my Canon R6 MKII. Lens works great. Very sharp pictures, auto focus works really well. Naturally you have to watch your lighting conditions, but with image stabilization on both lens and camera, the shots at low shutter speed and low light aren't bad. I mainly purchased this to use for wildlife pictures and at my grandsons football games. The attached picture was taken at approx. 180 feet with this lens.

Good alternative telephoto to the L lens. Fast RF focusing. Light weight. Good image quality at ISO 500 and below. Above 500 is satisfactory. 160-640mm when crop in 1.6 on R5 and R6. Good feel until you turn the zoom ring. It's no L lens. f/8 is a big factor.

I think it's a great lens for the money. Plenty sharp, quick and accurate auto focus. I have it on an RP. 400mm you're at F8 so you'll need a little higher iso and some light but these mirrorless cameras compensate just fine. I've been very happy with the results in daylight. It's also very nice carrying such a small and light lens around.
