This was a pretty good movie for its time. Sure the Keaton Batman movie had just come out, but this take on Captain America was pretty cool based on the budget given. If they would have had a better bankroll to use, this movie would have been so much better. Its god its bad parts, but its pretty fun and has some mystery built in. I’m so glad they put this Blu-Ray out as the only previous releases I could find were bootleg DVDs made from the laserdisc.

I've enjoy this movie still the effect are not too bad even for its time it came out. I think it has the same appeal as the current movies and you will enjoy

When I found this, was very happy, bestbuy got a lot of get vintage DVD's on line, look one up and it might make ur day!!!

Long before Chris Evans and the MCU, there was this direct-to-video version of Captain America. It's low-budget, campy fun. As long as you don't take it too seriously, it's a great ride.

What a terribly bad film! But it's so bad it's good and worth getting. Especially if you're a Marvel fan like me.

This movie is far better than the 1979 movies, but pales in comparison to the new Marvel movies.

The Red Skull defeats Captain America in 1941, but the super hero is thrown into suspended animation. Captain America is revived 50 years later to face the Red Skull one more time.

Being a fan of the cheesy older super hero movies this movie was a must own. It's awesome to see how much Marvel has improved the quality of their movies over the years.

LOL Captain America was so cheesy back in the day! But still fun to watch. Only can recommend for fans or like cheesy movies.

I heard about this movie and wanted to watch it. Your typical mid 80s movie with cheesy parts nothing like today's version. It was okay.

This movie is pretty terrible compared to anything recent. The story is the same cap origin story but the acting is not great. Effects are pretty much what you would expect from a movie made in the early 90s. The actual video looks pretty good on bluray. I would only recommend buying this if you are collecting marvel movies, are a huge fan of the captain, or you like terrible old movies.

I only got this because it I sent some semblance of a marvel movie. It's passable, but that's about it.

I bought this movie as a joke for a birthday present for a friend. We are no longer friends.

great movie for the time period .first time seen on dvd . nothing bad to say .

So not as good or action packed as the newer ones that came out the past couple years but still a good one for a 90's version.

I loved this movie. It looks just like a comic book.The story and the action are terrific. In the current Captain America movies the costume is terrible .

If you're a Marvel comics fan, this is a must have. It's not as good as the new Captain America movies but it has a classic feel about it.

A good movie to see! I recommend it for any marvel fan to see!

Fun to go back and watch how cheesy the effects & story are compared to the current MCU.
