Cute movie, my kids enjoyed it and so did I. Played well in the DVD player

Overall the story is good. It's not going to win any awards nor is it going to change the movie going experience as we know it, but if you want a movie that's just generally good then you can't go wrong with this one. There is some "potty" humor (I mean come on, it's literally got the word Underpants in the title) but nothing too bad by most standards. If you are strictly wanting to have a wholesome experience with your children then this is not a movie for you. The humor is basically what you'd expect to see on a 3rd grade playground, but there are some moments that adults will be able to appreciate. So, if you're not too strict on what your kids see or have older kids who enjoy animated features, and you want something that's also tolerable for adults, then this is for you.

My girls loved these books when they were little, as did I. I figured the movie would be less fun than the books. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this movie is hilarious in the same way the books are hilarious. It abounds in grade school humor yet manages to not be crude. The story of Harold and George, their friendship and their antics is well worth your time and money. Absolutely delightful movie!

My 5 year old loves loves loves this movie. Parents be forewarned.....this movie is on the super annoying side and I can’t stand it but my son loves it and he is the one I bought it for. I honestly have no idea what it’s about. I always love watching the newest cartoons with him, but this one, I just can’t do it. My seal of approval with 5 stars, I wasn’t the target demographic anyways lol

My nine year old son loves the movie -- thinks it is great (remember, he's only nine). I think it's because there is a lot of scatological humor (you'll have to look it up because the BB censor forbade a more kid-friendly term). I also think the villains are not overly scary and kids find it easy to identify them, but not too scary to watch. Nice story about being friends.

This is certainly not the best modern animated movie. Maybe if it came out in the 80's, I would have thought higher of it...maybe.

This movie is perfect for kids. My son and daughter love Professor P (Poopypants). The story involves two grade school friends against their principal. The two friends hypnotize their principal into becoming Captain Underpants. Everything takes off from there. It is a movie worth renting for your children. Definitely different from the Disney genre.

Mad me chuckle everyone and then but don't see myself watching over and over again

I bought this in 4K because I'm transitioning over to the 4K movement from regular Blu-ray and I can't say that there's really that much of a difference between the 4K and regular HD version of the movie. On another note though, I found this movie to be entertaining for both children and adults so if you're looking for something that your family might enjoy watching together, then give this movie a try.

This movie in 4K looks great. My boys really like this movie and it happened to be one of the first 4k movies I bought after purchasing a 4k TV and 4k blu ray player. Would highly recommend adding this movie to your collection. This package comes with 4k format, blu ray format and digital copy that can be viewed in ultra high def.

This was a cartoon movie that had some amazing and powerful message. I love the Innocence and simple things they did to make you laugh.This is a family movie that I highly recommend. When I first rented it the first few minutes it seemed ok but then got really good really fast and hooked me!

These cartoons these days appeal to a wider audience than ever and this is a definite must own if you love the books and have kids who can also enjoy the fun. Their is great comedy and the 4k UHD version looks spectacular on my 4k HDR projector. The atmos sound mix is amazing as well. Must buy!

I have a 3rd grader grandchild who is an avid reader of Captain Underpants books. he loves the movie. I also have a 3-year-old grandson who loves the movie as well. The 3 year old says Tra La La all of the time, they have watched this movie at least a dozen times. glad I bought the movie.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 10 yr old son who loves the Captain Underpants books. We saw this movie in theaters and I knew then that I'd be adding it to my collection of kids movie. If you like kids movies and love to laugh then this is a must see must have.

It is absolutely entertaining for adults and enchanting for all children who are looking for comedy and entertainment. Captain Underpants is DreamWorks' computer-animated feature film and that is why it will be number 1 in most countries of the world.
