It paired easily and picked up my car but wish it had some more functions/settings. However, it does do IFTTT, so that is a plus.

I love the concept of the device and it does work very well. I have two of these now one in my car and another in my wife's car. The good: works with IFTTT so you an actually program functions with your automated home, cell phone and identify problems with your car before they are real problems. The interesting: the software on an iPhone still has some bugs. I can't always get the interface to detect the device. However for the most part when it doesn't detect you reboot your iPhone and it detects and downloads all missing trips so while this impacts automation it doesn't miss the logging and tracking functions. I also don't prefer the gas computations, they should allow manual entry of gas price at each fillup so it can get accurate miles/gal figures. It currently does this by a complex automatic calculation that gathers gas prices from your local home area vs. real data from fill-ups.

Gave to my mother as a Xmas gift. She loved it and uses it everyday. Although it was tricky figuring out how to open for her.

I was an original V1 owner and was fairly happy with how well it worked. I snagged one of these for my GTI and am fairly happy with how it works. They have been adding on features and monthly reports on your driving scores as well. I am a big fan! Definitely a good buy if your in the market to make your car connected.

Purchased this product about 3 days ago. Set up was easy without any problems. Have driven about 300 miles since set up and the system (device and phone app) have worked well. I plan to use data for some business tracking as well as personal travel. App is mostly a trip report rather than "real-time" dashboard.

I wish I could not be penalized for driving 75 on the interstate

This is an EXCELLENT tool for the parent with a First Time Driver, it gives you the Daily Trip Logs of where they went...and Gas used, I've had the previous Version (Gen1).

I had a little trouble getting it set up but after that it has done just what it was advertised to do.

I have used it for a while. The app isn't much useful. Most of the time you have to unplug it and plug it back so it can access the app. The device automatically connects to the phone via Bluetooth but most of time it doesn't read it on the app. The computer website has some neat features. Main reason I got it is because my car MPG changes a lot. So I wanted an average. Also, it tells you what you have when a check engine light is on. I give it two stars because of the app failing for most of the time. There's no point in the device connecting if the app doesn't read it.

Like the new features of this Gen2 device. Wishing it could do more, but satisfied for now. Still does not conned 100% of the time, which does concern me cause I the day I need it, it may not work. Otherwise, out of sight out of mind.

This was easy to set up and get going companion app was free. I did go and also download an app that the system recommended for an additional 9.99 that provides even more details on the system such as battery life, emissions, speed and has very informative dashboard that helps keep my truck running great.

Does a good job of tracking my trips and how I drove. Only negative is sometimes it doesnt connect to my phone and I have to redo the bluetooth setup. Otherwise its good and they email me a monthly progress to see how I did.

Wanted something to accurately track my mileage for taxes and this works great. I tried some basic smart phone apps but they were very inaccurate where as this just works!

This product was a little tricky to get set up but their technical support was great. Now it's working great and I can see where my teenage son has driven the car.

I can pick up cords and adapters many places and some for less money. This one is well made, however, and I believe it will last much longer than others I have had.
