    The original Carrie is a great horror movie, a classic for a reason. This new modern version strips away always everything that was good about the original. We don't feel for Carrie like we do in the original, and the prom sequence is utterly awful complete with terrible CGI effects. And the ending doesn't really work at all. See it with your expectations tempered.
