This is the second cover I got for my Nexus 7 (2nd generation - I think it's the 2013 model). The first case got a small hairline crack in the lower left corner (I have no idea how), but it's still holding and protecting the tablet just fine, so I'm leaving it in there. This one is a backup. Yes, despite the crack, I bought the same one. Great material just wipes clean, which is ideal since it's white.

Overall, I love this case. Do I wish that the cover had magnets and automatically put the tablet to sleep/wake? Yes. Is this case costly? Yes. And, note that it only has two viewing positions. Nevertheless, this case is well made, fits the N7 like a glove, offers good protection and looks stylish. I have the white case w/ red highlights. All of my electronics cases are usually black - I flipped that this time and went with something light/bright and it's super easy to find and looks great carrying around.

This case from Google is a perfect fit for the new Nexus tablet; the device snaps in place and there is no risk of it accidentally falling out. The cover does protect the screen but I'm afraid the case would not actually offer much for protection in a dropped-device scenario. Additionally the cover easily slips out of the tab used to stand the tablet for use on a flat surface. For the price we should have gotten an Otterbox or similar case.

Everyone who has ever purchased a third-party case knows very well that "a good fit" is worth a little bit extra... The case fits the Nexus 7 perfectly, but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. The cover seems to be no more rigid than cardboard, and my case arrived with a bent corner right out of the box. The plastic fasteners grip the device at the right spots, without interfering with any buttons or tablet surfaces you need access to. The case cover, as already mentioned, is a little flimsy, and won't really protect your tablet from any serious falls, but it's still a huge improvement over the rubber sleeve that Asus and Google also sell. Good for keeping your screen clean, not so good for heavy-duty travel needs. Get this on sale if you can!

Wouldn't buy again. Lightweight, won't stand, can't clean light color cover. Does protect screen adequately and is a good size/fit for Nexus 7.

This case is designed specifically for the Nexus 7. It's a perfect fit... not one on those "universal fit" deals where it may or may not fit. It's beautiful. The only negative things I can comment on are cost and it shows dirt and smudges easily. When compared to cases for other 7" tablets, this one is a little more expensive... and there aren't as many style and color choices. But this case was on sale when I bought it, so the cost factor is not that big of a deal. The white was a color I picked that will stand out... unfortunately, it shows dirt quicker than the other colors. However, a little rubbing alcohol gets it clean rather nicely.

This case offers good protection and is good looking. The microsuade cover version (this version) is better than the fake-leather version. There is nothing to keep the front cover shut (although I would not want a flap with button like in other cases). It would be nice if there is a magnetic latch like in the iPad Smart Cover/Case (not possible because there is no magnet in the Nexus 7). Overall, I am happy with my purchase. However, I got it on clearance for $10 and would not have brought it at $50.

It fits very well, great material, good protection, but light and easy to carry around. but watch out, due to the plastic material and tight fit. The first one I got, one corner will pop out due to the tightness. I put nexus in it, did some gaming, then put it down, after couple of hours, I noticed one corner of nexus pop out of the case. I have to exchange it with different one.

The case fits my tablet nicely. I like the colors and how it is protecting the tablet.

I wanted a simple case that would make me confident that I could stack my Nexus 7 and my iPad on a table, etc, and not scratch it. It fits, it looks nice, and it does what it needs to do. Minor complaint: Because of the thickness of the case, it makes the power and volume rocker buttons harder to use, as I find that I need to poke at them so that my fingertip fits through the hold to the buttons themselves. Really, this is bound to happen with any similar case for the Nexus 7, though, due to its design.

This was for my grandson and he like it.the employee was very helpful.he ordered it online and it got there before Christmas.

I've been happy with case since I got it - it's a perfect fit for my Nexus 7, protects it well, and is easy to use. I've dropped it a couple of times on a hard floor and there's no damage to the case or the tablet.

Don't get me wrong I really like this case. I'm not sure I've seen a case fit the Nexus 7 any better. Absolutely perfect fit. The materials are nice too. Feels very professional in hand and looks great. However, the absence of a magnet on the front cover to 1. keep the case closed and 2. wake from sleep when opened is a disappointment.

This is a good quality case and came free with my tablet purchase, I like the quality and finish, and does the job for being the case. But I don't like color combo with my black nexus 7 tablet. Overall good protecting case and being free with tablet purchase.

Does the job and the price on this one was reasonable since it's being discontinued. The color isn't great but you can't have it all for the price. Suggest you set your price point and research covers with latches so cover will stsy closed securely. This one does not shut off screen when cover is closed so you need to do that manually. I would recommend this cover at the current price point for light to moderate use.

This case fits well. It's very nice and sleek. I expected the case to get dirty very easily but that is not the case. I love that it has a built in stand. $50 is very expensive for a 7 inch tablet case but you pay for what you get.

Fits the tablet like a glove. Good protection Well made. Is grey & blue tweed fabric so not as boring to look at as most. Great value for the price.

Fits perfectly and a great deal on sale. Just wish it had a magnet in the cover to turn the screen on and off when opening and closing like the cover for my older 2012 Nexus 7.

Much more durable than the original nexus case. The design has a retro style to it which caught my eye. I wish it had a sensor to wake up the tab when I open the case.
