It's perfect as a bumper and you don't even feel that you have anything extra on your watch! It protects but it does pick up colors if you wear long sleeve shirts over it. Covers the side button and still allows you to move the wheel without affecting anything.

Having said that we all know we need to protect them from damage. My wife and I both have Apple watches and we tried all the covers. We chose this one because it felt the best when wearing it and it still kept some of the original look of the watch. I don't like a big watch and all the other covers made the watch look and feel bigger.
