I think it's a bit overpriced but out of all the boxes this game has gotten, this one's pretty okay.

The game is great. Trying not to get every Switch title but they keep dropping too many good games.

Cave story is right at home here on the switch. It’s a game I’ve played again and again.

I played through this on my 3DS and PC previously, but worth another time through on the Switch. The portable nature of the Switch is a perfect fit for this fun but sometimes tough game. Worth a purchase, especially as a physical cartridge.

Same Cave Story game for those who've played it before but with updated graphics and a coop mode. Lots of fun.

This is a game with a history behind it. It was made by one man and released years ago for the PC for absolutely free. But I feel it's so great of a game that this Switch edition is now the third time I've paid for this game. I highly recommend any version of the game you can find, but this Switch edition gets a few bonuses. A full color manual is included which features new art and a miniCD is included with a sample of the soundtrack. In terms of the actual game, this version gets more small graphical tweaks were and will receive updates later down the line. Nicalis has stated a brand new co-op mode will be added in; a great bonus in my book! This is a fantastic 2D Metroid style game where you go around and explore while finding new weapons, upgrades and all sorts of stuff. All the while, a simple but effective story plays out through your slowly increasingly hard journey.

Boxart is great, but considering this is a free game on PC it's kind of hard to justify the $30 price tag.

Missed out on the 3DS version. Glad they ported it to the switch amazing game.

Fun game with cool and unique gameplay. Physical copy comes with booklet much like old NES games did.
