First off, I think my neighbors hate me now. If you buy these, I highly recommend getting an amp to power them, night and day difference. I was already impressed with them before adding my amp, now I am just sitting here in awe. I guess they were still very hungry even after giving them around 100watts straight from my receiver. These speakers are BIG, taller than my 7yr old son by an inch or two. If you are picking them up from the store, you will need an SUV or truck and you will need 2 people to carry them inside as they are around 116lbs per. All this trouble will be worth it in the end, you will not stop grinning ear to ear. Pardon the mess in the pictures, work in progress. The TV is a 65 inch for size comparison.

I have been using CV's since mid 90's. In '01 I got a full 5.1 CV lineup. I recently got the XLS215 to replace my E-315's. I figured with my new Denon receiver getting newer speakers would be a good idea. Well my E-315's sounded just as good if not better. Thought 10 years + with technology the speakers would be leaps & bounds better. Not the case. Luckily I have 2 home theater systems I just used my old speakers for. If your looking to build a system, these are very nice. I just don't see them as an upgrade to older CV speakers. At least the E-315's. I also like them over other speakers that they are 6ohm. Looks like all Klipsch are 8ohm.

These speakers require and can handle a lot of power. I added a Behringer A500 amp and may add another to really wake these suckers up. I currently have these speakers as part of a 5.1 surround and can isolate them for just stereo use. My room isn't really big enough for these but that didn't stop me. They can blast rock music (of course) like a champ but are surprisingly clean for surround use too. Also, they do perform pretty well without the extra amplification but really stand up strong when properly powered.

the pros are many, only one con i know of, these speakers are HUGE!! and weigh 115 lbs each. other than that i have ZERO complaints about these rockers! clean crisp excellent sound, i have nothing that the bottom end can't handle, nothing!! you'll want to have at the least 100w per channel to push these monsters. from Slayer to Rage against the Machine to the Crystal Method to whatever you got, these speakers sound fantastic

Invest the money they sound awesome and can take a lot of power. I have to Carver amps monoblocked 1 for each speaker pushing 1000 watts to each and these speakers handle it no problem. Great product !!!

I love the Cerwin Vega VE-15's I have so I am sure I am going to Love these speakers , I have not used then yet because I am a truck driver and have not yet been home to hook them up
