This product worked very well. It was simple to set up and with an extra adapter i could control two garage doors.

Perfect for what i wanted ...to use my smart phone as a remote for my garage door. Easy installation and worth the money. I recommend you do your research to make sure its compatible with your garage door. Google is your best friend.

I'm giving 5 stsrs however during the firmware update the green flashing light never turned solid so I unpluged and light turned solid and worked fine. Make sure your garage is compatible. Mine is a 1997 Genie Pro Screw Drive. You can find the date next to the learn button on Genie products.

I received this and installed it today. So far it works good, and I love that I can see on my phone whether my garage door was left open.

I paired it with my home link compatible garage opener. it has great wifi signal inside garage. now I can open my garage from anywhere

So I got this product because my wife leaves the garage door open at least one day a week on our way to work a coffee in hand, cell phone in the other, forget to close the garage door. So now I put a ring camera in the garage and now she can close the garage from my phone.

Keeps losing wifi signal. I already replaced the Device once. And no it’s not my NETGEAR Orbi. I have one Orbi that is next to garage where my PC is at. you can get up to is 300+mbps internet in the garage. This is the second time I’ve lost connection with this device. My first device that I got in February. I lost connection at least once everyone other day. It was annoying. So I replaced it with a new one in March. Second time I e lost connection so far now. Or did I get a defective product.

they send me a used one cant connect to my new wifi router. I have to use the old wifi router to make it works

I picked up the Chamberlain - myQ Smart Garage Control as an alternative to picking up another garage remote. Glad I did. Controlling with my phone is convenient and easy. The myQ app notifies me whenever the door opens or closes. I can send guest invites to family and friends. The application and instructions in the material walk you through the process. I had trouble at first getting the chamberlain paired with my Genie garage door opener. I discovered I had to move the myQ closer to the garage door opener. When I did that, pairing went smoothly. The myQ relies on 2.4ghz wifi. Make sure you have a strong 2.4g wifi signal wherever you decide to mount the myQ. If I had one request going forward, Google home and Alexa integrations would be nice. But that's it. It was a relatively cheap and easy purchase.

I have long desired to be able to open and more importantly close my garage door when I am not at home. I did not want to spend the money to purchase a wifi enabled garage door opener, and I really did not want to have to remove the old and install the new opener. I was looking at the Deal of the Day on the Best Buy app, and saw this Chamberlain myQ Smart Garage Controller. I thought to myself if only...If only I had a Chamberlain. But, I still had to look at it and drool. To my amazement, it says that it would work with most non-wifi connected garage door openers. Could it be? I have a Genie, is it on the list of openers this will integrate with? It was! Poof, I was off to Best Buy. It was in stock, it was on sale, it was mine! Activation and installation could not have been easier, in just a few minutes, all was done and working. Now I can open AND CLOSE my garage from anywhere. The accompanying app also informs me when I leave the door open. Amazon also automatically knew that I installed this and offered "Amazon Key" a way to receive deliveries in my garage. I could not be more thrilled with this modestly priced, easy to install and actuate device.
