Same issue with other people on reddit. If you are looking for 2,3 months usage. Its great but not for long term.its stays like disconnected .

Make sure your garage is compatible. Mine is a 1997 Genie Pro Screw Drive. You can find the date next to the learn button on Genie products.

So now I put a ring camera in the garage and now she can close the garage from my phone.

And no it’s not my NETGEAR Orbi. I have one Orbi that is next to garage where my PC is at. you can get up to is 300+mbps internet in the garage. This is the second time I’ve lost connection with this device. My first device that I got in February. I lost connection at least once everyone other day. It was annoying. So I replaced it with a new one in March. Second time I e lost connection so far now. Or did I get a defective product.

Glad I did. Controlling with my phone is convenient and easy. The myQ app notifies me whenever the door opens or closes. I can send guest invites to family and friends. The application and instructions in the material walk you through the process. I had trouble at first getting the chamberlain paired with my Genie garage door opener. I discovered I had to move the myQ closer to the garage door opener. When I did that, pairing went smoothly. The myQ relies on 2.4ghz wifi. Make sure you have a strong 2.4g wifi signal wherever you decide to mount the myQ. If I had one request going forward, Google home and Alexa integrations would be nice. But that's it. It was a relatively cheap and easy purchase.
