Great little gadget that can be integrated with your smart home and ensure you never leave your garage door open. Eliminates the use of multiple garage openers and you can let family members in remote! Can’t remember how I lived without it

I was very surprised by how super simple it was to install this with my 25 year old Craftsman door opener. I got it because it was an impulse buy on sale and I figured it was a great way to tell if my garage door was closed after leaving my driveway. I can't tell you how many times I've made it down the street and asked myself if I closed the door or not, so I had to drive back to check (barely 1% of the time it was open but that's still enough to make me worry). Being able to pop up the app to check on the door puts an end to that. However -- it's not always accurate. There have been two or three times in the past month since I've had this that the app shows the door is in opposite state that it really is. And there have been many ten times that I've used the app to either open or close the door and the app responds properly and shows that the door did what it said, but it turns out nothing happened and the door did not open or close after all. Despite what the app says. But the thing that makes me feel a little cheated is the claim that it works with Google Assistant. It BARELY does. You have to subscribe (free for the first year) to link to your Google Assistant or to IFTTT and even then the functionality is so limited that it's not worth the effort. You have to use the commands "hey Google, talk to MyQ" and wait for it to connect to the service. You're supposed to be able to ask if the door is open or closed but that doesn't work. You can't use it to open the door, and most of the time it fails to close the door even when it says it is. The IFTTT services have similar results when closing the door. None of the other IFTTT services do anything they claim. I've tried ones that are supposed to do various things with my Ring camera and my Arlo cameras and my smart-lights, but none of them have ever worked with the MyQ IFTTT subscription. I sure hope they don't plan on charging for the IFTTT or Google Assistant subscription after the first year because that will be the biggest scam. It's already a scam now that the subscriptions are free for the first year. But I discovered something I didn't expect but really like about this system: when you're confined to bed rest and can't go downstairs to open the front door for someone, rather than installing an expensive smart-doorlock, this is a PERFECT solution! If a visiting nurse or someone comes, this is a super easy way to let them in and out. Even if the app doesn't work on the first or second attempt, it will work eventually.

Finally pulled the trigger on this item so I can monitor the garage door. Works as advertised and has not given me a problem. Installation was fast and easy! Love the fact that it lets me know when the garage is/has been opened and closed.

Works great and nice to get notifications and control the garage door remotely. No more leaving it open all night by accident with scheduled closing.

I am happy with this product; it works as described and was easy to set up in my garage. You have to get instructions from a video but easy to access. Very convenient to monitor remotely my garage door and very good feature allowing to share the control.

This works great. The app is easy to use and the installation was easy. In the initial setup it asks the color of your antenna wire on the opener. My color didn’t work so I tried the setup using another color option and it worked.

I wasn't sure how much wiring I would need to install this so I was getting ready for a hard time. I plugged in the hub to the power, stuck the sensor to the garage door and that's it! No installation! App guides through every step. Great product. Peace of mind.

Was kind of a pain to install, but once we got it figured out...we love the accessibility from our phones. Easy and fast opening. Only wish you didn’t have to pay for a subscription to be compatible with google home.

Great tool. Now I dont have to worry about accidentally leaving garage door open. I can set up alerts and remotely close my garage doors. Very easy to setup and use.

This garage door hub to control my doors by my phone is excellent & so very easy to install. I feel so secure knowing I can check my garage doors from anywhere & close them if they are open.

I got this as my wife would leave the house and did not remember if she had closed the garage. The Chamberlain was easy to set up and install. Now we always know if the door is up or down. It is great that it can be closed or opened remotely.

Awesome way to make your garage door a smart door access for amazon package delivery. So I no longer have to worry about packages getting stolen. Also easy way to make sure you haven’t forgotten to close the garage

Definitely more affordable than sticking a camera in or near your garage. It has a separate sensor that you stick to the door to tell the system when it's open or closed. The integration with Google Assistant is lacking, as you have to say "Ok Google, tell MyQ to open my garage door" rather than the more common "Ok Google, open my garage door". Which brings me to the next problem, it'll gladly close your garage door at the sound of your voice, but appears to prohibit you from opening your garage door with your voice, presumably for safety reasons. While I sort of get this, part of my reason for buying this was being able to open my garage door on my drive home before I actually arrived at my house.

This garage door opener works great. The best part is to know if I remembered to close the garage door or not. If not, I can close it from a distance and feel good about it.

Was such a great price ($29.99 but originally $60+). Every so often my garage door button’s battery is week so it’s been my answer to use my phone as button! For thirty bucks less it’s more fees able than buying batteries!

Chamberlain's MyQ Smart Garage Hub is a great addition to anyone's smart home or a great tool on its own. I don't need to worry about having my keys to the house or the garage door opener as long as I have my phone. Also very convenient if one of the kids or a roommate can't get in the house, you can easily let them in with a push of a button regardless of where you are. Easy install and easy use of app. Only issue I found was the app has gotten glitchy on me, like most apps get, twice this far and I purchased the product 6 weeks ago. Overall, its a great product, and I would purchase it again.

I love this! It’s easy to use and I can get notifications when my garage opens or closes. I can also look st the app at anytime and know if my garage is open or closed and how long it’s been that way. Well worth the money for my piece of mind.
