This hybrid bbq unit is amazing.. took 3 hrs. to assemble without any leftover parts!! easy to use. Would be nice if it had a HANDLE for lifting/moving it on the 2 wheels.. Cooks wonderfully.. Charcoal is my favorite.. beware that the charcoal is single layer thus it burns off sooner than a standard 'pyramid' pile. I added a few coals when it was losing temperature during pork tri-tip BBQ.. not a big deal though.. still love the unit.. looking forward to gas bbq as well.

Assembling was not that of big deal. Works just fine, being a hybrid can be used for gas and coal. so far ended up using only gas. Cooks great, loved it. Reason for only 4 star is due to some personal options which I expected this would have like the body/material of the grill is not as strong as I expected, grate wobbles little with a bit of allowance left don't know for what good reason, hooks were not added to hold brush, etc. But, putting all those wining aside :). Overall I am happy, loved it. Hope lasts long without getting rust next year. ;)

If you're looking for a great grill look no further! I purchased this from Best Buy on a one-day sale and I couldn't be happier. Setup took me about 90 minutes since I've never put a grill together before but overall it was pretty easy. The tray used for charcoal makes switching between gas and charcoal a breeze. Simply take out the metal inserts in the grill, replace them with the tray of charcoal and turn on the gas. Once the charcoal gets hot you turn off the gas and the charcoal stays hot for you to cook. Also, I really wanted a grill that has cast iron because I prefer that and I really love that on this grill. Highly recommended purchase and my wife loves that she doesn't have to cook every night anymore!

I couldn't decide if I wanted a charcoal or gas bbq. I love the flavor of charcoal grilled foods but when I'm in a hurry I like a gas bbq for my party guess. When I saw this I was in Awe.....The perfect solution... THANK YOU CHARBROIL. AND THANK YOU BEST BUY FOR HAVING IT.

I love this grill. I hate the smell of lighter fluid, but love the taste that charcoal gives. This Hybrid Grill gives me the cooking options I want.

We grill almost daily throughout the year. Love the burner for the summer so we don't have to use the kitchen at all. Also love that we can switch between charcoal and gas.

This grill is versatile allowing you to cook either gas or charcoal rather easily. Haven't cooked fully with the gas yet but being able to light the charcoal with the propane was awesome!

Great flexibility for gas and charcoal cooking. Easy to convert and clean. The unit is not as study as non-hybrid bbq's with the same price point.

Bought this grill after much thinking, I am so glad I did! The directions suck to put it together, but when you get it there, and you get to cook on it, it's worth the time!---Heats up fast, cooks hot, I'm still learning but I love it, get you one, you won't be sorry!

This Char-Broil cooker allows you to use propane gas cooking or charcoal cooking as well. You get the best of both worlds. Sometimes cooking food with charcoal has the best taste. You also have the convenience of quick propane gas cooking with no cleaning.

Grill is great but would be nice if best buy stores had them in stock easier to purchase so you can see and examine product

My first major grill. I've used the combo gas/charcoal heating method and seemed to work well. Going to start really doing more these next few weeks during summer. I will say one thing, the instructions are TERRIBLE. If you're a grill master, I'm sure you can do something like this with your eyes closed, but I am not and there were some parts of the instructions that needed further explaining. Other than that, so far so good

The specifications say a tank is included. Customer service representative confirmed there should be a fuel tank included. I didn't receive one, and now am getting the runaround from customer service.
