I purchased this Chefman Express Air Fryer from Best Buy ebay. I absolutely love this fryer but just over a month of use, the try door on the fryer try won't close properly so the unit won't turn on unless I place something that pushes in the try door. Also the tray paint is starting to peel and rust after every wash. Best Buy refused to process my exchange since it's just over 30 days from the purchase and asked to contact Chefman for replacement. Chefman warranty department gave me the run around and still exchanging emails after almost two weeks even after I send them the picture as proof. As of today, I'm still waiting for Chefman's response on the replacement. I would recommend not to buy this brand and go with another brand.

I purchased this almost a year ago, and it worked pretty good for about 3 months. Then one day it just didn't turn on anymore. I got in touch with manufacturer, and while they said they would replace the item after I filled out a form, the whole process took about 2 months to complete (not including shipping time). Their replies would take weeks at a time, and they would make the same information/confirmation request multiple times. When I finally did get the replacement, that one too stopped working after 2-3 months. That being said, while it was working it did a good job, if anything it usually took a little longer to cook than instruction time, but not too much. It would be nice if the quality was better so as to make it last longer than a few months. And even though it is a lower end item at $100, I would expect it to last at least the full year.

The basket is too small. For example, I made chicken wings in it. It only allows for 17 ounces at a time for cooking. It took over an hour to make chicken wings. I had to repeat the process 3 times. The house gets very hot and the product emits a lot of smoke. Definitely not worth it.

Do not buy this! I read all recommendations and purchased it a year ago. After only a few months I noticed the coating on the basket has worn off from scrubbing food off. No response from company about what kind of metal is underneath. Very difficult to get food particles off, after all it is an air fryer, so no fat is used. I would soak for days before washing. So your choice is gross stuck on food particles or cooking on an unknown metal after coating comes off! Unacceptable!

I purchased this Fryer and got to use it about 6 times. It worked great while it worked. I was quite impressed that an affordable device would work as well as it did. Unfortunately after the sixth time it would not power up anymore, checked my outlets, looked for a breaker nothing just plain dead. Took it back to the store, probably could have tried another one but instead upgraded to the name brand (read expensive) one.

With out scraping it or doing any damage the black coating peels of , I’m happy the way it fries but I’m very disappointed with the strength of the product . I’m still using it like that but I don’t like it, it also started to show corrosion and the timer dial doesn’t ding sometimes so I’m very disappointed with the product and don’t know if I can still return it.. is being more than a month ... ughh

Was a great way to heat fries and nuggets when it worked. Cleaning was a hassle. I'm glad I didn't spend much on mine. I did have it about 2 years before it stopped working but probably only used it about 10-15 times in that time frame. It just stopped working. There are no lights when plugged in. The timer ticks even when it's not plugged in so it must be similar to a wind up kitchen timer and doesn't need power for that. I tried emailing company but didn't get a reply. So I called Customer service and they were friendly enough when I called. So even though this is a common issue there is nothing they can do as it's out of warranty period. I'll update if they change their mind.

This air fryer may be fine for precooked, or processed foods. But I could not get what I cooked to brown. If I had read the reviews before (not after) I purchased this, I probably would not have bought it. I returned the air fryer to the store.

I purchased this item primarily to make french fries. I think it did a terrible job. They didn't look great, some were almost like overdone and some just done. For the length of time it took I felt it was not worth the effort. I return the item to the store.

Purchased on 10/09/2017 and died on 21/10/2017 .Only used 10 times and could not turn on .

Didnt last more than 3 months. Stopped working, didnt power on. Tried to reach customer service at chefman, no one answered the phone, no replies to my email. Took it back to best buy. They denied to help too. Months later got another one from bestbuy just to make sure if its a faulty piece or the entire production is faulty. This one didn't last more than 35 days. Returned it back to best buy as it was under 45 days return policy. Will never even think to buy chefman products again. Will switch over to some better brand for my next air fryer.

The first one I received didn't have any instructions or cookbook. Company NEVER returned my call. Haven't had a chance to use the second one yet.

I bought this on black Friday, and it has been working perfectly until today. It just stopped working. I used it yesterday and it was perfectly fine. Today I went to turn it on, and only the timer is working. I don't recommend this brand, if you can pay more for a better brand.

I purchased this air fryer with the assumption that it doesn't use oil so when I found out you use oil...I returned it!

Purchased 3 weeks ago and have used 4 times... Non stick is already coming off and yesterday found rust where metal is exposed. I'm going to return ASAP!

Dried out chicken and didn’t make it crispy. Took back and got my money back. Not worth spending money on.

I use this only 3 times and the Unit no longer works after less than a month, it doesn't heat anymore .

Stopped working after 2 weeks just in time for the Best Buy 15 day return policy to go into effect.

I didn't like this as it took longer than cooking in the oven so prefer to deep fry with oil.

Wouldn't work! Left things raw and or frozen. What a waste of time. Took it back ASAP!
