I bought this product through Best Buy. The basket started peeling after about a month's use. The unit works fine, but the basket peels. When I contacted Chefman to see if I could purchase the basket alone, I received a series of messages asking me for pictures of the unit, for what I used to clean, etc. They kept saying I could order a basket, but in the end, after a week of emails back and forth, they finally just tell me to take the unit back to where I purchased it. I could have done that on the 1st day. Instead their customer service wanted to exchange emails but did not want to answer my questions and had no intention of sending me a basket, whether I paid or not. The problem is, since the basket peels after so few uses, I will have to replace it more than once without taking the entire unit back.

I was super excited to get this air fryer as a gift and started using it right away. It was way smaller than I was expecting but it still did the job at first. It was easy to use and made wonderfully crispy food. The nonstick coating started washing off after just a few washings and thats all by hand. The poor air fryer only made it to the 1 year mark and then died completely and the warranty didn't cover anything. I ended up having to buy a whole new totally different air fryer. definitely wouldnt recommend this one.

When it worked it was a lifesaver! Warming up small snacks was a breeze. But it was purchased in Feb 2017 and Dec 2017 it stopped working. They are sending me a replacement which is great but it could have at least last a year.

The air fryer worked well It's just like my convection oven but smaller. Great for alternative to a oven if u don't mind giving up the counter space and hand washing everything

This was our first air fryer and it worked as expected for the first 4 months. We used it 2-3 per month; approximate total usage of <12 hours. Then one day we noticed a strange odor reminiscent of burning, melting plastic. After inspecting the exterior, basket, etc. I couldn't locate any faulty anything. So, we tried it again and same thing. After contacting customer service they were no help in troubleshooting or replacing/fixing via warranty since I no longer had my receipt. In the end we purchased another brand for less from Walmart which has worked wonderfully.

This air fryer was great while it worked. It slowly started to break after about a year. First the timer dial knob would occasionally not start up the air fryer. It would take a few tries turning the knob before it'll eventually turn on. The temperature slider became sticky and hard to adjust. With these issues I finally got rid of it. At least I bought it on sale, but still very disappointed.

To be honest, the fryer works... But it doesn't taste like deep fried food. The food tastes more like oven food and we prefer to use our big oven better than to use this device. We only use the device twice and we're now trying to give it away for free to friends and family members, but no one wants it. We were looking for something that would make our food taste like deep fried without using a lot of oil. This device did not work for us.

It's very simple and easy to operate. However, the basket is way too easy to remove from the machine, doesn't give u a secure feeling. Also, it would be nice to have a on/off button. I have to unplug each time after use.

Plastic seams flimsy and seen reviews where it breaks down with that said no probs

Tray is extremely small, timer has to be set multiple times for food to get done. Does not stay hot very long. If you remove tray to check if food is done, you have to wait for air fryer to heat up again. Best use is heating up previously fried foods.

it was good but wanted a better one. Wanted better brand

My broke with 9 months of having it and it broke .

This was my first attempt at trying an air fryer, but it did not work like I wanted. Perhaps it works well with processed/frozen items, but I tried to make sweet potato fries from a spiralized potato, and the results were not good.

I had a deep fryer previously and loved it. I wanted to get something healthier and not as smelly. I found the basket on this product to be to small and it takes to long to cook.

Does what it should kinda well. Really only large enough for one person cooking. Have not tried fries yet. Pre cooked/coated chicken wings came out good. Would not purchase again.

I returned this unit because it's design was not something I found easy to use, plus it was really large, real bulky, and noisy. I had no where to store it either due to its size.

Gets hot, but adjustment knob is wrong, no response from manufacturer, bulky and you don't really need it, use your oven.

I enjoy cooking and cook regularly, the air fryer was supposed to be some magical device that made frying easy. I don’t feel that way. I used it for French fries, bacon and for dumplings. It was more work and a lot more time using this appliance. I felt like I spent double the time making each item for maybe oil savings. If you don’t properly coat your food in oil before frying it will be dry. I don’t recommend this and I returned it.

When I was single it was an everyother week item for me. But after I got married it became used every other day. Worked great but it didn't last even 3 years. Bout November 2017 died exactly 3 years later. And the warrenty as already expired. Going through Amazon for a newer model and a bigger trey. Its served its purpose.

can do the same with my toaster oven. to big for the counter top
