Doesn't GET HOT ENOUGH
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Won't boil water...only a warmer! I put dry beans and onions in one cooker and vegetables in the other. I put the dry beans on high setting and the other 2 on the low setting and it cooked around 7-8 hours. The 2 on low setting were warm enough as they needed little cooking but the dry beans were only half cooked and onions were still crunchy. Water was not even boiling. I "upgraded" to this from a 2 burner Tru slow cooker that would cook dry beans in 3 hours and the water would be boiling at a slow rate in 45 minutes. This in my opinion is junk. Now I have 2 of the cookers off to see if I can get it to boil water in one cooker since maybe the 3 cookers are drawing more current than the small wires will allow...touched the wire and it didn't feel warm so I don't think that is it. Just disappointed and cleaning my Tru up to put it back in business.
