I had looked and read reviews on home slicers for a couple of months and decided on the Chef's Choice M609. I am very satisfied with the slicer. It has a wide range of thickness selections and slices perfectly. I sliced a whole ham under 30 minutes. I thought it would take a lot more time, but, the slicer was so efficient. It took a little bit of time to clean the slicer, but, I think that will be a quicker process as I get used to disassembling the pieces that needed to be cleaned. Lubricating the gears under the blade were easily done and I think this will prove to be one of the tasks that will prolong the life of the slicer.

It does the job with ease. The only drawback as with any slicer is the effort required to properly disassemble and clean it. It slices very well and evenly.

Bought this as a gift for my mom who wanted a meat slicer for so long, nice thin cuts of meat! and easy to work with!

I have always wanted one of these and finally got one. Which I wouldn’t have waited so long. Best purchase I ever made. Just wish I would have got it before now. You will not go wrong with this!!

I learn how to use this machine on Youtube. This machine is very easy to handle. It helps me a lot to cut. The only thing that I concern is that it is not easy to clean.

Comes with a serrated blade. This is fine for me because the meat is slightly frozen. Makes quick work of slicing up 5 pounds in just a few minutes. Cleaning does take a little work but it comes apart pretty easily. Unless you have the money and room for a Hobart then this is the way to go. This is much easier to clean then a Hobart though.

Bought this for my mother on her birthday after reading fantastic reviews! She is absolutely in love with it and product is so easy to install and use!

Saves me a lot compared to store bought 'Beef jerky'. after making the real stuff not too sure about what I was buying in those bags. Paid way too much for those bags too.
