A wide and varied tracklisting with sweeping arrangements and painstakingly crafted tunes. Really, truly, amazing... This could be the album that turns around modern rock and gets it out of the weak recycled state its been in for the better part of a decade or more.

I'm a younger GNR fan. I've been waiting for this album for over half my life. I've never been so excited for an allbum. I want to thank GNR for finally getting it out to the public. Go to GNR.com to listen to Chinese Democracy. The best song out there

Has there ever been a more anticipated album ever? All of the songs I've heard have been amazing. An album like this may come along once ina lifetime. I'm stunned by what I've heard so far.

I have not heard the final cut of Chinese Democracy. However, I have heard what I would guess is 80% of it. It is good. It would be a great Axl Rose record, but it is a disaster as a Guns' record. I say this because it isn't a guitar record at it's heart. It is a piano record. No surprise there, that is how Axl writes. However, to me... Guns is the sound and songwriting of Slash and crew. Like many, I find calling the band 'Guns and Roses' totally insulting. He did not start the band, and even the name was partially lifted from Traci Guns pre-G&R. There is plenty available out there to taste. I would google the single 'Madagascar'. It is a great song, along the lines of 'Civil War'. another great song that you can youtube (it's a live performance) is a song called 'the Blues'. also a great song, and also a piano based melody that spins into powerchords and distortion around the 5 minute mark (think every Styx record). not worth waiting 17 years for. However, I can't imagine that anything would be. Can't wait until the band gets invited into the R&R hall of fame and all the surviving members are invited. Cat fight, anyone?

this cd is goin to rock..axl is a genius..even tho its not the old lineup its still going to be amazing..ive heard all the leake tracks..the blues is such a beautiful song..im buyin a couple copies of this..i cant wait til nov 23rd!

It should have been so much better, it's actually pretty tame by todays standards and is far removed from G N' R of old. I went to many shows and any midnight releases they had back in the day, so I think I can say I was a hardcore fan, dating back to the pre-Appetite days when my buddy had their 1st original release! I listened to this new album and just sighed, and not a relaxing sigh either, a sigh of disappointment. The most rocking song is the one released on the radio, the rest is just, meh... There's nothing that reminds of the greatness the G N' R name once carried. It is "ok" if you separate it from the early days, but it's still not great by any means. There's no RAW on it, a lot of it sounds like Axl complaining and for an album that cost as much as it did to make, the music is sub-par for a bunch of well known & respected musicians. I don't say this because I miss the original line-up, which I do, however, you won't walk away saying, I need to hear that again, that rocked! His next album better have RAW if he expects to keep his fans and not be taken as a failure and a joke.

I'm a long time GNR fan and wasn't the slightest dissapointed in the new album. Sure it was a long wait but it was well worth it. Nothing like the older albums but still packed with some great songs and some great Axl vocals.

I haven't got to listen to the whole CD yet, but you better believe that I will be there when it is released to get it. I have heard quite a few of the songs though and they are great! I can't wait to have the Cd in my hands.

I have listened to the leaks, and if they are any indication of what the album will sound like, then Guns N Roses are back. Finally some rock and roll that isn't emo. I'm looking at you fall out boy and panic at the disco.

I've been a GNR fan since high school (80's) and I am very pleased with this album. I was a little reluctant at first, however I think this sounds a lot like the Use Your Illusion albums. This is a great album!

Absolutely brilliant. Definitely worth to wait. I am long time fan and this is the best album. Axl is GnR no matter what all the people say. Great job. *Bows*

So I'm going to be completely honest. Let me start out by saying I am A HUGE G N' R's fan and I was the one around my town telling everyone to give it a chance and it will be good cause it's Axl Rose and he is a musical genius. Well after listening to the full album numerous times, I have to say the album is sub-par. Axl really should have called this band the Axl Rose project, cause it is nothing at all like the Guns of old, and unfortunately no matter how hard Axl tries to get out of the the shadow of his former band with the same name, he never will. I still love Guns N' Roses and nothing will ever change that, so I will wait, wait like the rest of the true Guns fans for a future album that will hopefully even come close to their days as the World's Most Dangerous Band. :-( RIP G N' R

This is unbelievable! A great rocker once said "What we got is gonna turn your brain to s***" and that is exactly what this album does. I love this album and am 100% sure it was worse the wait and the $11.99.

I'm just really amped up about this album. I've heard Chinese Democracy and it sounded good. The vocals are a little different because Axl recorded himself twice in two different melodies, but it's still Axl

I just can't believe it. Guns N' Roses ROCKS! I've listened to all the leaks,and I think that, although their new musical directions, Axl has made a great work, and I think that it was worth the wait.

FOR ME THIS A DREAM COME TRUE, FINALLY THEY ARE BACK, THE MUSIC, THE LIRICS ARE AMAZING, IN MAY OPINION AXEL WAS BORN WITH THE PERFECT VOICE FOR ROCK, I WISH THEY COMING BACK TO FLORIDA IN CONCERT

Not to worry people. Street of Dreams = The Blues. Mark my words : Better will be a huge radio hit along with Street of Dreams. Nice to see a couple tracks listed that were not already leaked too.

Chinese Democracy was worth the wait. For all of you guns fans out there, or for all of those who are interested in becoming a fan, buy Chinese Democracy. You will not be disappointed!!!!!!!
