This movie was funny due to the 2 lead actors and their chemistry. A few of the jokes were funny but some fell short...overall very predictable movie but did exactly what I expected - make me laugh and giggle and parts and I still enjoyed the whole movie.

just as dax shepard said not at all like the original tv show. Lots of good one liners. the extras are worth watching. dax does a good job of playing a by the books jerk. michael pena is good playing a kind of homo-phobe. vincent d'onofrio plays a crooked cop well

I remember this wasn't in the theater very long which is usually a bad sign. Rented it first and actually thought it was funny. When the price dropped to $10 on Black Friday it was in my cart. Don't expect an academy award winning movie here. Just some good laughs. And yes I remember the original tv show back in the day!

Lots of bikes(Motorcycles). While sophomoric humor at times(not that that is a bad thing) it was made up for with super stunts(not cgi junk) and action. More of a guy movie. Held off on buying it until the price dropped to $9.99

Only thing stopping this from being a great movie is a little language and some of the sex talk. I totally enjoyed it otherwise. But talk about licking butt lost me.

I thought this movie was pretty funny. But please do not watch with children. There are some indecent conversations I think would not have been missed if they were left out. Other than that the music and comedy was good.

I was a bit skeptical of the remake. The original series was okay when I was a kid. I just wasn't sure if the series could be made into an updated movie. I liked the movie. So, it appears they left room for a sequel?

Gift for my brother. He liked it because it has motorcycles in it. Good information about law enforcement. A few funny parts with good acting he said.

I initially rented this movie but I liked it so much that I purchased it. There are funny moments which warranted enough for me to own a copy. You'll enjoy it if you don't compare it to the original Chips show.

For those who grew up watching the real CHIPs, this movie will not disappoint! Set in current time, the movie isn't deep or intense, but anyone looking for that shouldn't be watching this type of movie in this first place. Funny and had me laughing so can't argue!

I'm not the type to go see comedies at the movies. But when they come out on disc I give them a try. It was a funny take on Chips, but growing up watching the tv show it's not the same feeling.

I really enjoyed this "Raunchy" humorous version of the old TV show. The actors have a great chemistry, and the story is pretty good. There are some "Raunchy" moments, but they are hilarious.

Over the top comedy with Dax Shepherd. Always funny and no gender confusion throughout the movie. Very rare these days

I liked the movie with a light hearted theme and some comedy. Loosely based on the early TV series "CHIPS" and best of all at the end of the movie Erik Estrada (Ponch from the TV Series CHIPS) made a cameo appearance as a EMT paramedic...

I love Dax Shepard so whenever he's in a project I'm down with it. There isn't much for fans of the old show but if you're into just a raunchy romp of a time, then I think you'll like it.

This movie is very funny and is a good movie but I wish they would stop doing remakes of good shows and turning them into straight comedys. Otherwise very good movie

Great movie! This refreshing view of the old TV series is fantastic! Pena and Sheppard are hilarious on their own, but together, explosive comedy! One of the best comedies I have seen in years, and definitely worth 2 or 3 rewatches!

I was amazed at how great this movie was. It's not your dads chips. Its very funny and has a really good plot. It was way better than I thought it would be. Worth every penny spent.

I never got a chance to watch the original series but if it was just as funny as this movie I definitely am going to watch the originals. Hilarious

So not appropriate for the younger generation, (not PG like the TV show was when we were kids) but so funny. We had Redboxed this and after seeing it, couldn't wait to add it to my permanent collection. Worth the watch.
