Written to parallel the real life St. Nicholas in many ways this little movie shows the value in giving of self and passing that value along to others. The Dutch actors have their voices overdubbed in English, but it isn't too noticeable.

This story is a very different Christmas story, exploring the Lapland childhood of Santa Claus (not St Nicholas). Its Finnish perspective is interesting. This is not what you would call a "fun" movie, but it is still enjoyable.

It was a good holiday movie and how Santa clause "came about". The only thing I can see semi wrong with it was that it had subtitles /was in a different language. It made it hard to understand . Other than that it was a good movie.

My family and I really enjoyed this film. Originally filmed in Finnish the English dub is a little choppy but doesn't detract from the story. Highly recommend this as an addition to your families holiday viewing.

Great movie to watch with the kids to provide a new twist on Santa. Adult situation in the beginning that may need a bit of explaining to young ones. Two thumbs up.

This movie has some beautiful scenery and music. The story was slow for me but my wife loved it as it is a genuinely a good move.

Haven't had a chance to view this movie yet, but am sure to enjoy it as it looks like a fun movie.

The movie was darker than most holiday movies but the story was interesting and the movie was well done.

This is not the Christmas Story with the red rider b.b. gun. It was a nice watch for the holidays.

This was very obviously dubbed over and a little slow, but it was a sweet story.

I bought this to show my students during our Christmas party. They really got into it. It tells how Santa Claus became Sanra and the reason why. It will surely surprise you. A tear jerker

This was a great movie in expressing how simple Christmas began and was unexpectedly amazing to watch. It will be a yearly Christmas movie along with It's A Wonderful Life!
