Made my older Dumb TV an excellent Smart TV. Easy to use remote with Voice commands. This is an upgrade to my older Ruku device.

Everything you could need app wise. Crystal clear 4K HD. Very reactive remote.

I bought these to work on my 4k TVs. I recently got rid of Spectrum and moved to Fiber Internet. I bought the Chromecast to use to Stream my shows I watch. By doing this I saved $100+ by ditching Spectrum and I still get to watch my Favorite shows via Streaming. The Chromecast can do many things by streaming shows, to connecting my cell phone or laptop to it. I am glad I got these.

Great product and ease of use. I've owned several different Chromecast iterations and this is my far the best, particularly with having the remote and Google assistant. Only wish it was slightly cheaper and came in black.

Perfect but you have to make sure you have a great wifi connection. This has changed the way I watch content. It is as easy as watching on the phone with the remote and google assistant button. In fact its easier since the tapping is eliminated and all I have to do is say what I want and google looks up the best results for me. The design is sleek and hides well. The remote is durable even after 100 drops and bites from my dog. It is worth it investing a strong wifi to support this in the room you are using it in. I may as we delete the streaming apps on my phone and just watch on the tv.

To me it's the best chromecast yet the remote makes it so much easier to use i dont have to connect my phone to it no more so no more worry about leaving the house and the family not being able to continue watching the program or the family not being able to change what they are watching with out connection of another device with one of my streaming accounts since they are all on the chromecast with TV the Google assistant is a very cool feature ill ask for movies or videos with out need of typing anything I highly recommend it to everyone who uses chromecast older gen its a very big step from old gens.

Pretty good streaming stick. Works better if you have an android phone/tablet. Not as good as an Apple TV, but for the price I’d say this is more worth it

I've purchased 2 of these now and love having all my streaming services in one place with an easy to use remote. My main complaint is the small storage which fills up quickly adding the streaming apps.

Great way to speed up an old TV's OS. The new google tv is easy to use

Product is easy to set up and use! This older TV was hooked up to an Apple receiver. The control was very touchy which made it hard to stream programs. The Google TV control makes streaming so easy and the voice recognition works perfectly for all voices in our household. The unit is very reasonably priced.

The new Home Screen is awesome! Brings Chromecast up to speed with other streaming sticks like Fire Stick and Apple TV. Little glitchy but very fast and easy to use.

The reviews are accurate. I thought, this coulnt be better than my Nvidia Shield, can it? As a streaming device it has been superb and more reliable than the Nvidia Shield in terms of wifi connection staying consistently connected, streaming services working and the controller always staying paired unlike the Nvidia shield. Bluetooth speaker functions are pretty whack and need a lot of work to consider it a point of reliability. I'd expect it to pair with Google home grouped speakers too, but no such luck, this is pretty sad since the Sonos lawsuit is forcing us to say farewell to any future development where that would become a possibility for Google's Chrome cast TV.

I've tried Firesticks and was currently using a Roku. Thought I would give the Chromecast a shot. Definitely the best of the 3 in my opinion. Having a suggestion screen that shows what I CAN watch based upon my existing apps is great. The search by voice works well, quick netflix & youtube buttons come in more handy then I thought. I already had a Nest Mini and I like being able to turn on the TV, control it from that kitchen speaker...even if it's just to mess with the kids, haha.

I finally have a chrome cast with a remote. I can cast from my phone and still control things with a remote. The UI is nice and doesn’t feel too cluttered

I was apprehensive about this until I install everything. Now that I have it working it works far better than I expected. Installing was fast and using it was super easy. If you have a smart phone it is even easier still. I am glad I bought this for all my non-smart TV's because it works great. The Only thing you have to have is an HDMI port on your computer and you are good to go. I am very happy with this product and have already recommended this to family and friends.

Chromecast was very easy to setup including the remote to control my TV volume and switch input from DirecTV to Chromecast. We're very happy with this purchase.

Overall, a decent streaming device. The highlight of the device is definitely the operating system, Google TV. Having tested Firestick and Roku, Google TV is clearly the most streamlined of the three. Secondly, this device works perfect if you are using YouTubeTV as your source for TV. It blends live TV perfectly with all of your other streaming shows and movies and makes everything very accessible. Pros: Google TV operating system YouTubeTV functionality Good 4K and HDR when used with compatible TV Cons: Processor could be faster when loading apps Remote is an awkward shape and feels cheap

great interface, everything communicates well with each other, remote is really nice, and google seems to be able to predict what I would like to watch.
