Google chromecast is fast and offers several optilms to consume media. You can cast almost any app from your phone. You can even screen mirror if the app doesnt support casting. It also has standalone apps on the chromecast itself. All of your favorites are here from netflix to youtube. The proce is extremely attractove as well for a 4k streaming device.

Worked right out of the box, our Sharp TV dosn't like the remote but that is not that big of a deal, still works with the chrome cast. Its nice to no longer need a phone to cast from.

This is the change Chromecast needed to stay in the Steaming Device Game. A good solid remote for screen navigation (no more using phone). Bluetooth capable for those who would like to connect a gaming controller. And the ability to play PC games using the Steam and GeForce Now app. Nice! The crown of the resistance “would have been” the ability to install Stadia from google app store. But with a little web search and effort, this is not impossible. Overall, 9 out of 10 in my humble opinion. I

Bought this as a gift for my father and mother-in-law. Easy to use and works well with apps and also screen casting Oculus.

As long as you have decent Internet the Chromecast is a fantastic addition if you don't have a Google TV. It makes browsing all of my streaming content and interacting with the TV with my phone very easy.

Compared to the traditional chromecast device, the latest Chromecast with Google TV was super easy to set up, and since I have Cox cable, I set up HBO Max, Showtime anywhere, and the Starz apps right away. Also, since I'm an Amazon Prime member, I was able to set up the Prime app. So, I have all of my TV options in one device, to include YouTube. I've been binge watching the traditional Star Trek series WITHOUT the commercials! This is the one no brainer product to get for the 2020 holiday season!

As a techie, I'm quite picky about my devices. I've been a fan of the Chromecast line for years and when they announced this new model that properly runs Android TV I was cautiously optimistic. Absolutely blew away all expectations. Short of something like an NVIDIA Shield this is the most powerful smart TV device you'll find, especially at the price point. That power means an immensely smooth experience. It's stuttered maybe once in the month I've had it.

I am a huge Google user so when I saw they were releasing an updated Chromecast WITH a remote I was excited! Had to wait a bit to get it, but it was worth it. It seems to run android as the settings menu looks just like a phone's. Overall it is pretty fast at loading apps and even has some that Roku doesn't have. The opposite is also true though so make sure you do your research and choose the one that is best for you. For the price though, I don't think this new Chromecast can be beat.

Best Chromecast to date. The addition of a remote control is much needed and useful. The interface is fast and simple to use

The Google TV 4K Chromecast is the real deal. Easy to set up and a gorgeous picture if you have the capability on your TV.

This is great and mostly the same as the older versions of the Chromecast I've loved for years however, for some reason this is a bit more finicky about connecting to my phone or computer. Hopefully that's just a bug that will be fixed with time but for now it is somewhat frustrating to not be able to cast from VLC player at all or from my phone as easily. Clearly the intention is for you to use the remote to access youtube through the built in interface however when there are multiple users in the house with different accounts and different subscriptions this isn't a perfect solution. These are all minor gripes though and otherwise it works great!

A solid upgrade from the last model. The interface/firmware is super stable, consistent and very easy to connect with. Once you are connected once to a known network, you never have to reinput a password. Well worth the money even if you already own a previous version

The best streaming device. In the range of $50. Chromecast was always versatile than Fire or Roku since you can cast content from mobile, tablet or laptop using Chrome browser. Now with inbuilt memory and remote Chromecast TV is at the top of all the streaming devices. Runs on Android 10 so you get all the Android TV apps and future proof since any streaming service first gets an android app. Example HBO Max. If you are looking for a streaming device then get this with your eyes closed.
