Not the easiest to install. But once that's done, it is so much fun to use! I bought it for the ability to cast from my phone. It's great! I highly recommend it!

I love my Google TV! This has turned out to be the best streaming device I've used. Easy to access any and all streaming services you need. I really like how easy it is to navigate through the interface, as well as locate any TV show or movie you're looking for, no matter where it is. Google TV will tell you what services offer what you're looking for and bring you straight there so you can start watching! For what you get it's an amazing value.

One of the best innovations for flexible watching/sharing. We have bought several chromecast devices, and more for gifts for extended family. It's great to be able to quickly cast from any device, and the inclusion of Google TV is very convenient for accessing streaming apps.

The layout of this streaming device is very user friendly. It organizes your apps very well and can program to your TV, audio equipment and other devices to streamline your experience! However, I only gave it a 4 star because it doesn’t support Dolby Atmos audio and is slightly glitchy at seldom moments.

Works perfect having all my streaming services under one interface and single remote it's great!

Chrome cast is a perfect way to manage your smart tv with the google apps. I use these on the 3 tv's in my home. Easy setup and to use. This product also get updates, its a simple as a click to update when you get the notification on your tv.

This is head and shoulders above the interface of Roku. I love the simplicity of how it merges all the shows that I'm watching across platforms and includes the suggestions. The overall Google suggestions and watchlist (at the risk of privacy, I guess) is fantastic. It also gives you options of the platforms which you want to watch. I have the latest roku and this, and as an otherwise Apple user, I prefer this 10/10. Docking 1 point because the remote's direction buttons are janky. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't.

This little device packs a punch. The interface is relatively straighforward. The features are great (now that Stadia is also available on it). I have used Roku and Fire Stick, but I'm sticking with GoogleTV. Only drawback is the limited storage space, but I was able to resolve that using an attached hub that also provides Ethernet for greater stability.

Long time Google fan here, this will be the 3rd Chromecast we have purchased, I have one connected to my main TV and the second in our Bedroom. I have subscribed to several of the streaming services so the only time I don't have something to watch is because I've not turned the TV on! Google is suggesting a lot of content, a few from platforms I dont subscribe to. But I sub'd to some others and really like the content. The darn dog likes the remote and chewed it up. I bought two more and nightly place them where she cant get to. I have also had one remote "wear out" where the buttons just stopped working, So very easy to add remotes, Google does a nice job there.

Amazing little device. Works great! Much more responsive than my Vizio's smart tv features. I also love having the remote instead of having to pull out my phone. I've bought into the google ecosystem, so having an assistant button on the remote and being able to talk into it is pretty cool too. The ability to add storage and stuff through usb-c is pretty cool too! Check out youtube videos on that. Very cool device.

Very smooth UI and all the app choices you would want. Now my issue with it (and the reason I returned it) is because it will not work with the 1A / 5V power provided by the TV's USB port. It needs more than that so you are forced to use the included power adapter. The way my TV is set up It has not visible cables so I just wanted to connect this device to it and forget about it. Unfortunately this was not for me but if you have a setup where you have a power outlet behind your TV or not care about the dangling cable then this one is definitely for you

Great improvement over previous versions. Got this specifically so I could set up an iptv. Works great.

I have been using the original Chromecast and decided to bite the bullet with this version. I have to say my experience so far has been an upgrade to the original. The device is quick to set up, recommendations as all things Google work great for the shows and movies. Integration with my smart home set up was a cakewalk. The remote controller is a wee bit tiny for my hands but otherwise 10/10 from me.

Easy Setup, the Google Chromecast was a breeze to set up. The channels that you can access are a more broad quantity than regular cable. I cut the cord with spectrum and don't regret it not one bit we only use their company for internet after years of wasting money on their TV lineup package and a phone that we did not utilize.

Since Google and Roku are fighting it out, we've had to move away from Roku. We purchased a couple of the new Chromecast with GoogleTV units. Boy, are they great! Anyone that uses YoutubeTV must have these! The guide is right on the home screen. So is a lot of your library from your YouTubeTV DVR. Google was very smart to add the remote and to un-tether the Chromecast from your phone while keeping the casting capabilities.

Works great use it as a media hub in the master bedroom. Works well with android phones to cast screen *not sure about iPhones. Remote is finicky sometimes have to raise is higher when laying down in bed.. *or maybe I'm lazy... Works tons better than a firestick imo. Faster, clearer & just better. Get one!
