Very nice to have a remote and more you can do than just pushing feeds from a laptop, phone, or tablet. I like the choices for TV services, which make a dumb tv, smart. I like how fast the casting is to it and I like how you can cast from either an Android or iOS phone. A great buy

Using remote to set up accounts frustrating, remote control is small for big hands.using caps you have to go back to key for each capital letter in User Id or password . Once it's set up and getting use to remote it works great.

Access to so many tv shows and movies you could easily spend an hour adding content to your library and watch list. Remote is quick and responsive, can be a a little slippery at times and hard to see in the dark. Since we own 2 of them I love being able to go from the den to bedroom and continue watching.

I was expecting to have any Android app for video content, but not all of them are available for the Chromecast. Also it didn't show (in a easy way at least) the source of the content. Neither offer an option to easily acquire the service or at least to inform that it wasn't available in the region.

This clever little device turned that TV into a smart TV. All the most popular streaming apps like Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, etc. are available through Google TV. Also casts shows, videos, etc. to your TV like a traditional chromecast. Wish we had gotten it sooner.

Must have if you have an LG TV

Plus the Google tv interface is so much better than webOS. If you have an LG TV, get this! You do have to go into display settings and switch on "match content". Because if you don't, all the apps will be in dolby vision and the content will be overblown when it comes to the picture.

Made a smart tv out of an older (8 yrs?) unsmart (dumb?) tv. Can now stream Apple, Prime, Netflix, etc. Great gadget. For the price, truly a no brainer.

So far I have one in the living room and one in my bedroom they work perfectly. The remote doubles as a TV remote or soundbar remote as well. If you have Bluetooth headphones you can connect it to the device for private listening which is awesome and works well. The same can be done with your Google Home speakers.
