I initially picked this up as a way to play my PS5 while traveling. It has turned into my go to streaming device both at home and on the road.

This thing is so much better than the old Chromecast! It does need to be plugged in the wall and not the TV, the remote controls the TV vol as well! Has all sorts of pre loaded apps and services.

For streamers on devices w/ less than optimal controllers [my OEM controller used ~ 2 ea. AA batteries per week] this Chromecast w/ Google TV is excellent. Good apps. Lots of user-friendly interactivity. Importantly, battery life good. Installation well-automated for my device. Good value, too.

Easy to setup, i find the remote a little small and the volume buttons in a awkward location in my opinion. The interface is easy to maneuver but not able to pair with my Stadia gaming controller and this also does not support my cable providers application so i cant watch my cable subscription through this device.

Love this product, Way better than the amazon fire stick in my opinion controls are easy as well as being able to stream from my computer to my tv witch I Love, it’s also the best bang for your buck.

Using this chromecast to gaming monitor, working as expected. supports 4k and no app crashes or stuttering.

I'm extremely satisfied with this chromecast. I used to use multiple Chromecasts(2nd Gen) but this one tops them all. The remote it very easy to use, functions with all my other Google devices and I love how it allows you to have personal recommendations on movies/shows.

Excellent streamer! Great UI and very smooth. All the apps I want and need with a great remote. The only downside is for anyone wanting to get Atmos out of it. Waited three updates to get problem fixed but it still doesn’t work. Any Atmos soundtrack and the sound just doesn’t play on any app. I switched it from my main tv to my room tv where Atmos isn’t needed and it replaced my Fire Cube TV.

I've owned a 1st Generation Chromecast for a while and it was a bit laggy at times. I purchased the new one because of the remote and not having to go through a mobile device to make it work. OMG what a gamechanger this is. No lag whatsoever and it works just like it was an app built into a smart tv. Highly recommend!

Finally Chromecast with a remote! This device integrates perfectly with my Samsung soundbar and my Samsung TV and I am able to control everything with my Chromecast remote. It loads up apps very quickly and makes switching between streaming services a breeze. This is the Chromecast I have been wanting for years!

Google nailed this one! This is so simple and easy to use that you don't even have to lookup the instructions online. Only complaint is that remote is a bit slippery but you can get a cover with some grip online for a few bucks.

Easy to manage full scope of content. Not best in market (Nvidia shild pro still king there) but much more affordable and portable for on the go steamong

It was easy to set up and was able to watch shows within minutes. The controls are easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. The mute button is right next to the power button which can be problematic for some people. Overall, a good product!

Has all the smart apps, but most modern smart TVs have the apps anyway. Most importantly, it allows me to cast in 4K from my computers and devices to the TV. It does this very well. Inexpensive and simple to install and easy to use. Highly recommend.

Fast and simple. Connects to newer wifi speeds, boosting throughput and avoiding buffering. Lots of apps available for streaming options. Great price for the features.

This product has made the chromecast experience a million time better. It's great to not always have to reach for your phone or use your voice to change what you want to watch. The remote is very intuitive and easy to use. If you love your chromecast and want to take it to the next level, don't hesitate to upgrade.

Google TV is such a great ecosystem for watching all of your favorite streaming services. Having access to the Play Store is also a huge plus for some of the hard to find apps that do not come on the other streaming devices. 100% recommend this to anyone even if you already have a smart TV.

My Dad loves watching his Youtube videos. This one came with a controller, compared to his previous 1st Gen Google Chromecast. Plug and play. All you have to do is connect it to your home wifi and you can start watching instantly.
