Has all the smart apps, but most modern smart TVs have the apps anyway. Most importantly, it allows me to cast in 4K from my computers and devices to the TV. It does this very well. Inexpensive and simple to install and easy to use. Highly recommend.

Huge upgrade from the last few chromecasts (which i also loved) The remote is useful and I was also able to program my harmony remote to work with the unit as well (you have to define it as a fire stick). The real big improvement is the multi-app watchlist which makes getting back to your shows a trivial matter.

Chrome cast with google Tv nothing else to be said. Honestly it is the best priced streaming device that operates with android tv This device is for simple streaming and more. remote is very fluid also you can pair the remote to control your TVs power bottom volume control and input settings so thumbs up for me.

Even though I’m tech challenged, I was able to install and activate this fairly easy. Does everything we needed it to. Highly recommend this product! Zach did a great job assisting us.

Google nailed this one! This is so simple and easy to use that you don't even have to lookup the instructions online. Only complaint is that remote is a bit slippery but you can get a cover with some grip online for a few bucks.

I have always had FireSticks or TVs with Chromecast built in. This new addition of "Google TV" is pretty awesome. Looks very similar to the layout of FireTV, but as a Google fan I much prefer this. The clicker is a bit hard to keep track of though.

It is easy to use and if you use the speaker function it actually show or understand what you want to watch an I have a heavy accent, my mother has been using non stop

If you're looking for a great streamer running Android and don't want to spend the money on an Nvidia Shield, this is definitely the way to go. Love the Google TV interface (does need more integration with more apps for the "Ways to Watch" feature to be able to curate more content). I would like the option to have the UI on my Nvidia Shields. 4K HDR playback is good. Will say that there are some apps that needed to be updated with some not supporting Atmos currently (Disney + and Movies Anywhere) and VUDU does not support 4K or Dolby/Digital/Atmos at present. Also, the Apple TV app is not supported. This is not a lack of features of the device, devs just need to update the apps. For those looking to sideload apps, it can be done. Just google "enable developer options chromecast with google tv." The remote control is on the small side and does feel a little flimsy compared to a Fire Stick Remote if that's what you've been using. It does work well although you will not have individual Play/Pause or fast forward/rewind buttons. Overall, great streamer, especially for the price.

I bought this for my kids tv. I love it works better than the older version of chrome cast. Works faster,no lag. Only issue I have is there's no quick way to exit an app like before. So when one happens to act up I literally have to go to settings and go from there to foreclose the app. Also with a restart button no quick and easy way to restart the device itself.

I like the user interface alot, but unfortunately it doesn't incorporate my services all to well. The remote is absolute junk. It's the length of my middle finger and really not that wide either. It's very awkward to hold. Why Google didn't use their own G20 remote is mind baffling. I thought i would like the device, but it got unplugged and put back in the box.

Easily the best smart stick available. The user interface is clean and simple. If you already have a Google (or YouTube) account it makes setup of this device quick.

I bought this so we can get HBO max, and it doesn't disappoint. The remote is exceptionally easy to use, and it features a dedicated button for Netflix and YouTube. The voice recognition sets the standard in my experience, I think Siri can take a lesson here. The 4k resolution is impressive. Well done.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift. I needed something affordable and easy to use. Once you sign in with your existing gmail account you have access to the google play store. I chose this over roku because of the large collection of apps, ease of use (parents)

Really good I can see my apps on tv, stream, free channels, etc. The best is the quality and sound of my TV improved a lot. I reccomend it

This thing is so much better than the old Chromecast! It does need to be plugged in the wall and not the TV, the remote controls the TV vol as well! Has all sorts of pre loaded apps and services.

I love my Google Chromecast I take it with me to my grandmother's house when I'm staying in hotels I can stream anything any where

My Dad loves watching his Youtube videos. This one came with a controller, compared to his previous 1st Gen Google Chromecast. Plug and play. All you have to do is connect it to your home wifi and you can start watching instantly.

Love this product, Way better than the amazon fire stick in my opinion controls are easy as well as being able to stream from my computer to my tv witch I Love, it’s also the best bang for your buck.

My 2016 Samsung TV has started not getting new apps (Peacock, AppleTv, etc), so I got this. It was easy to setup and works well. Even brought it with on a trip and used it in my hotel room (had to setup my phone as a hotspot to bridge their wifi connection, but not a big deal)
