What is great about this selfie stick is it can also be a tripod to
stand in place. This allows you to film yourself and have both your hands free. There is also a clicker which allows you to start the video without having to lean you hand into the camera and push the button. I wish the holder would allow you to film portrait as well as landscape. Worth the price!

I was really, really disappointed with buying this item, because sales person did not explain to me it was open box and a few days later when I arrive on my honeymoon vacation first attempt to take a pictures crashed because the this thing was damaged and glued by previous buyer. Soon as I tried to open it it fell apart. Please check properly all return items before you put that on the shelf

I bought this selfie stick at Best Buy prior to an all day whale watching cruise. I wanted something that I could use to get great shots without fumbling around trying to "hit the button". (Why is taking selfies so awkward anyway?) So I jumped on the boat after unboxing this product and I took it through its paces and this is what I found...
This is a three in one product. It is primarily a long angled selfie stick, a bluetooth camera remote and a tripod. As with most products that serve multiple functions this product is better at some than others.
As a selfie stick I would say that this is above average. I have had other selfie sticks and they worked ok but had a tendency to be a bit flimsy. This felt solid and sturdy, my phone (i Phone X Max) fit well as long as I removed my bulky case. With the case on the weight was a little too heavy and made things unbalanced a bit.
The base for the tripod is made of lesser quality materials so the tripod functionality was better than nothing but could definitely be sturdier. then again If you were just looking for a selfie stick and found out this has a hands free tripod built into the base as well then you just got lucky and should focus on the bright side.
I found the bluetooth remote control to be functional. It is a nice added benefit especially for those of us always struggling to reach the right button to snap the photo while trying to take large group selfies.
My biggest disappointment with this product was the price. You can easily find cheaper selfie sticks. However this one does serve 3 functions so keep that in mind before you completely dismiss it at the $50 price point..
Overall I would recommend this product but at $50 its not for everyone.

Good, Not Great

Good but not great for the price. Instructions are poor. While they include a Bluetooth Remote that lets you control the device, the instructions to load the battery are so poor as you risk breaking the remote. I have worked with plenty of small remotes to load batteries and this may have been the most challenging. If you really want the Remote functionality, fine, but you can buy a comparable item for $20/$30 less

My wife needed a new selfie stick, because she broke her old one. I saw this one at Best Buy and decided to surprise her with it.
Overall this is a great product...price is a little high, but for the sturdy build quality. There are a few small things that we don't really like about it....or so I thought.
1. The remote...there is no place to store the remote that comes with it when not in use. Makes it easy to misplace it. Which would be a problem if you extended the stick and lost the remote it would be impossible to reach the phone to press the button.
2. The tripod part feels like cheap plastic. The stick section feels like a sturdy metal so the this makes the tripod section feel like an after thought. When the tripod is attached the stick if you jiggle it you can hear the feet hitting against one another.
3. The joint...its not a ball joint, but a pivoting joint. This only allows for approximately 100 degrees of motion on one axis. This makes the joint less susceptible to failing, but it dramatically decreasing the overall functionality. For example, if you wanted to take a portrait picture using the tripod it is impossible. This is because the phone is being held in a landscape orientation and if you pivot the phone it will be facing the ground or towards the sky.
4. The part that holds the phone is ok. I have 6.7" screen and my phone will not fit with the thin silicon case I have installed. So I have to remove my phone from the case just to use the selfie stick.
5. Other cheaper selfie sticks have a place that you can mount a small light to...this one does not.
Final Thoughts: The more I wrote this review the more I realized all the flaws that it has. Don't get me wrong I like the selfie stick overall, but don't know if I would recommend it to a friend unless they needed something a little more study.

This was a good item to invest in. We bought it to help record video for virtual community events that my partner and I volunteer with. It was so easy to use with a Galaxy S10 phone. And because I am mobile challenged, it was helpful to have the extension and remote with my walker and scooter.

this stick is made for smaller lightweight phones. the holder doesn't seem to support my Note10+.
its too light weight to use for larger phones and the stand seems flimsy too.

It might be even better as a small stand with the added tripod base for more stationary filming or streaming. The remote is easy to use and reliable. The clasp keeps a good hold on your camera, and the added secure plastic strip is a nice extra benefit. All in all a good option without going broke. Only real complaint (and it's a minor one) is a tendency to lean ever so slightly when the top end of the stick is at full extension.

Love this TV - create clear picture, easy to use. Really upped our TV game! We had a Visio 65" that had begun to darken in many spots. We did not know how bad it had gotten until we got this bad boy!

This selfie stick has the advantage of both a small screw-in extension for a little longer reach and that doubles as a small tripod. Unfortunately, the collapsible part that wraps around the phone got jammed with fine sand (I was in the desert) and I was unable to open it enough to use it anymore.

This is a cool piece of gear, it doubles as a selfie stick or a tripod for your phone. I only cut the rating because it's difficult to use a large phone in its case. It's not impossible.

The phone holder is very stable and tight, it comes with some extra security in the form of a rubbery wrap around band. It telescopes open very well and easily. The grip is good and stable and doesn't slip around if I'm holding it up in front of me. Regarding the "tripod" foot attachment its only good if you have the phone straight up flat vertical. If you aim the phone camera downwards at all the "foot" is not heavy enough to support the weight of the phone. I have an iPhone 8.5. Some kind of sand bag type weight would work, but I haven't done that yet.
The battery cover is a little hard to open, I am concerned it may break if I take the battery out too many times.

My wife has been wanting something like this, and so when she saw an ad on fb she jumped to get it. The price was good, and she was excited until it showed up. It was really cheaply made, and didn't do anything she wanted.
This time she was able to hold onto it, and this is very solidly made, and the price was very good for the quality that she got. Not only is it a selfie stick, but it also will hold her phone with a built in tripod. She has really been happy with this purchase.
