A classic that doesn't feel old or stale. The more I watch it the more I appreciate it. Pair it with ET and call it a good movie night.

This film has been a film I have enjoyed watching throughout my life. Beautifully shoot. Fantastic score. Amazing direction. This must have for any sci-fi collection.

It's Close Encounters of the Third Kind...what more can be said?...the 4K is worth the upgrade at this price, btw...

Close Encounters is classic Sci-Fi that for me is a must watch when its on. Decided to purchase it after cutting the cord and not finding it on a streaming service.

This is my favorite Steven Spielberg movie and the Blu-ray looks fantastic. If you haven't seen it before, this is a great version to finally catch it on

The price was right so I decided why not for my collection even know this is an older Movie I did not have it in my collection so I said why not at a great price

I watched the 4K re-release earlier this year in the theater and couldn't wait to jump at the chance to own a copy myself. 4K is the right way to watch this film.

Classic movie; 4k; Steelbook; enough said. I watched it with a friend who hadn't seen it and she loved it as well.

This new edition has some of the old stuff ported over, but it has some additional like a Home Movie reel that make it worth getting for those who don't own it.

The 4k disc of Close Encounters looks fantastic. It has all 3 versions of the movie. The original blu-ray is from 2007 and needed an upgrade. Highly recommended.

One of my all time favorite movies now on 4K. It’s amazing how they can remaster classic movies like this in 4K resolution. Definite purchase for the film buff.

I originally saw movie in VHS Format. The bluray really makes the movie pop. Better video and better audio. A collectors must have!

old school scifi dependent on the acting, and not the effects, to sell the story. wish more movies followed this method of things. well worth owning.

I remember seeing this in the theater when it first came out! Still holds an awesome inspiring place in my heart. Worth getting for the image and audio clarity!

I haven't seen this film in years and when I saw it was available in 4K it was a quick and eas purchase. This film is meant to be seen in 4K on a big screen tv.

Everything about this film is a must see. Casting, direction, graphics are superb. However, 4k remaster is not worth the additional cost. Buy the Blu-ray.

This is a great movie that even kids will love. Try it and see some history. Came out the same year as Star Wars.

Close Encounters holds up great after 40 years. It remains a thrilling yet thought provoking film. The UHD is stunning with the best picture presentation ever.

A great new disc, the picture and sound are fantastic and a great compliment of extras, most of the old DVD material is carried over and a few new interviews.

Great movie. Came with a code that worked with iTunes, which worked with MoviesAnywhere, which came with 3 versions: Theatrical, Extended, & Directors Cut.
