I loved the Movie, my husband not so much. I think it depends on how open you are in your forward thinking. You have to allow yourself to believe past the normal that is taught us and ask different questions about our lives. It fits more into new age I guess. Telling about where we may have come from in the past and where we may be going in the future and at the same time staying connected to those we love very much through all of our lives, not just this one. One definitely needs to keep an open mind for this and watch all of it not just give up after the first few minutes. It will come to you, how everything in this movie and it's stories are all connected.

Seeing Tom Hanks attached to a film is usually a no brainer. This time I left feeling a bit unfulfilled. Don't get me wrong, the movie is pretty good, but at times it felt a little "pulled thin." Wish I woulda waited for it to go on sale.

This is not a no-brainer action movie. There are several inter-twining stories, and the sometimes circular chronology of the movie's events make it difficult to decide what is reality. It's a non-linear story, so you will have to pay attention. But i loved it! Each story has completely different characters, different conflicts, different setting, but their lives all affect one another, even in different centuries. There is a unifying theme revealed as the movie moves along. I loved it and i am definitely going to watch it again! If nothing else, see Hugo Weaving emulating a Nurse Ratchet character, complete with grimace, dress, and platform shoes.

This movie was a little hard for me to follow but I couldn't stop watching it. I will have to view it another time so things can set in for me. I didn't really catch what was happening until close to the end.

I like the way the story travels through different realities. It is surprising to find that several of the main actors portrayed other roles in the movie apart from their own character's "incarnates" or multi-dimensional doubles.

Very good Sci-Fi movie. However, it is a bit in-depth, so you will need to be attentive to be able to enjoy and follow along. If you are tired or have short attention span, wait for another day.

Absolutely riveting! The intertwined stories of reincarnated people, each meeting another in different times with different character flaws and strengths. Amazing acting from Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, probably their best work to date. Equally mesmerizing are performances by: Susan Sarandon, Jim Broadbent, Keith David, Ben Whishaw, Bae Doo-na, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess and Hugh Grant. Each actor plays a number of different characters and adapts well to the demands that each separate role demands. Buy this NOW! BTW - I checked rather thoroughly for the best price on this baby and I found it here at Best Buy!

This movie has a great cast but the plot was something you have to actually follow to understand. I have tried to watch it while on computer and I realize it is better to watch it with little distractions.

I enjoy watching movies in BlueRay. It gives a better quality to the film and provides an alternative to those who are big film buffs. If you are into home theater, this is the way to purchase your DVDs for better viewing.

I had high high hopes for this film because it had a stellar cast and the directors from the Matrix which I loved. The movie has a cadre of actors playing different characters in 6 different time lines. Unfortunately, it cuts from one time line to another without adequate explanation and it is very unclear what the relationship is between the characters across the timelines. It was almost 3 hrs long..... I would have never made it without the pause button on the blue ray player- No idea how the cinema fans made it through

A unique combination of film genres. Characters move between the past, present and future with changes in character that keep you riveted to the story. A bit hard to follow at times.

I loved the movie, but this is one of those movies that you almost have to watch twice to truly enjoy how the writer intertwined the lives of the people. Very different, very enjoyable, I'd buy it again.

Pretty cool story that transcends time. This also makes it a bit hard to follow as the story jumps between timelines. However, the acting is pretty awesome and each actor plays several characters.

Right off the bat I'll say that this movie isn't for everyone. I've heard some negative reviews that i accept but just don't agree with! This movie is epic in scope and the Wachowski siblings just nailed it. I LOVE the idea of one movie shifting between so many timelines, from ancient times to a futuristic sci fi adventure. It's long, but the kind of long where if you're into it you wont want it to end. The Wachowskis are hit or miss these days but this one is definitely an underrated masterpiece.

This is a long movie but the multiple acting roles each actor played were awesome. We liked the way they pulled it together in the end. It was nice to see a happy ending for some of the characters.

Not an easy movi to watch, but well worth the effort .... It switches frequently between six,or more,eras - but to tell more would be a plot-spoiler - just watch and pay attention!!

Don't listen to the reviews--this film ably captures the book and provides a really great meditation on the nature of time, and how our actions resonate forward in history.

as above having this movie around is a good thing for those nights that you don't know what to watch on tv ......... you put this in , and the person that your with will appreciate it .

Loved the film, but it definitely takes an attention span to get through. Highly intelligent and engrossing, it was at least a pleasing experience to sit through. Beautifully filmed, as well.

A sprawling re-incarnation speculation. If you like a challenging movie, you will probably like this. I enjoyed it but my wife didn't think it was successful. Apparently, not for everybody.
