Cloud Atlas was good for a single watch in my opinion. The production value in the movie is epic, always something good to the eyes on screen. The plot may lose many, however, and I personally found the makeup and acting to be elements not of the highest standards. If you are looking for a different science fiction experience from the average movie though, something a little heady and intellectual, Cloud Atlas may intrigue you.

This one you have to pay attention through out the movie. It keeps you guessing all the way to the end of the movie

Okay decent film anyone who has read the book probably understands it better can be confusing without the knowledge

Tom Hanks and Halle Berry are excellent. The interwoven stories between past, present and future is a bit unusual.

Hard movie to follow. Jumps from different places and time. Had to watch it several times before I understood the movie

we have watched this movie a few times and each time we pick up something different in the movie that we missed in prior viewings

Even though the story keeps jumping between 6 times, it was easier to follow than I thought it would be.

I actually really liked this movie. It is an epic, so it obviously goes a bit long. But if you follow it, its pretty darn good.

Love Tom Hanks and some how I missed this movie. It was good because of Tom Hanks, but not great. Parts was a little slow.

Some of my favorite stars - like Tom Hanks and Hugo Weaving - are collected to present a massive story spanning ages and lifetimes. Blu-Ray was the right choice, offering details and facial expressions I might otherwise have missed. This film by the Wachowskis (of Matrix fame) did not receive enough credit or acclaim. Glad to find it for a good price at Best Buy!

Haven't watched this movie since it first came out. Enjoyed the movie so much once agiain. Worth watching over and over.

Anything with Tom Hanks & Halle Berry's gotta be a "must-see" ... and this one is quite a bit out of Hanks' usual fare!

I bought this so I could watch it several times and try to understand it a little more. I do love the premise of time.

Good picture on 4K Samsung. Lots of features and extras like DVD and uv copy. I use Vudu and appears to play just fine.

I like a psychological thriller and a movie that makes one think just about as much as anyone I know. But this movie was difficult to follow and at times simply loses the watcher as they draw out the plot line. There is good acting and cinema...and certainly some big names...for all that...I give it three stars. If the story would have been better....more stars would have been forthcoming.

If you are willing to put in 3 hours and PAY attention, this film will pay off for you. Well worth at least one watch.

This has amazing visuals and a great cast with good performances all around. I definitely recommend it.

The previews seemed good but when we bought the movie it started out slow. It is a lengthy movie as well. It was an average movie.
