Customers often highlight the excellent performance of this gaming desktop, noting its ability to smoothly run even the most demanding games at maximum settings. However, some users experienced issues with the solid-state drive (SSD), including installation difficulties and, in a few cases, malfunctions. A couple of users reported problems with the motherboard and insufficient space for certain components. Overall, the positive feedback on performance is notable, but potential SSD-related problems should be considered.

Johnny, we're glad you are so happy with your CLX SET system!
As to bluetooth, while the system does not ship with it by default, it can be easily added if you wish. We would like to point out that modifying the configuration with any properly installed component that does not damage the system, will *not* void the warranty or Free Lifetime Technical Support we at CybertronPC provide.
So, whether with an internal or external adapter, please know you can add Bluetooth with confidence!
Thank you again, Johnny!

This computer is certainly beefy enough to run anything and everything, not that it matters anymore since its been discontinued, but nonetheless very powerful.
A big takeaway was the price point though, the 9th gen K series processors are much more powerful, and substantially cheaper.

The machine I received: i9-7900X, 32gb ram, 480gb SATA SSD, 2 TB hard drive, MSI X299 Raider MB, Win 10 home. All components are name brand. The case is a white InWin. Had minor problem installing a U.2 SSD in drive cage, there was insufficient room for the cable to make a downward 90 degree bend, got it in by unscrewing the drive and sliding it to middle of drive bay. There is barely room for a 90 degree SATA connector. Happy with performance. One voice call to customer service went well, helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Contrary to the product picture, the CPU is cooled by a 240 (2 fan) radiator / AIO pump/water block. Check MSI website for full MB specs.

I would have thought that all computers came with a WiFi card at least, but for this one. I was wrong. You will need to buy a WiFi adapter if that is the way you want to connect to the internet. Still working fine 2 months later

Do not buy this. My computer malfunctioned within only a week of the item being delivered. I've seen other reviews where something similar happened with a Cybertron pc. These computers are way too expensive to be malfunctioning so frequently. They offered to run diagnostics on it, but since they're located in the middle of nowhere, it'll take at least 2 weeks to send and get back, but by then the Best Buy return period expires, so if there's still something wrong with it, getting a refund will be an issue. I had to return mine. Although I will say their customer service is good, and I appreciate the willingness to help. Unfortunately, when the computer fails so soon after purchase, it leads me to believe there needs to be a better quality assurance process

Thank you for providing feedback – we greatly appreciate hearing from our customers!
We sincerely apologize that you encountered an issue with your system, and if you have not yet returned the system, are more than happy to assist you, and would like to respectfully address some of the topics raised in your feedback.
First, please let us attempt to assist you. If you would, please, reach out to our Friendly Customer Service Team, at 855.490.2569 (a toll-free number). It was unclear from the feedback whether you had contacted us at CybertronPC, or the Best Buy team. If you contacted us, please reference your existing ticket AND ticket 2461519, otherwise, please reference ticket 2461519 only.
Our main facility is located in Wichita, Ks, so we are very centrally located to nearly any point in the USA, and shipping is quite easy and quick. We understand that you are concerned about the Best Buy return window lapsing, so our goal would be to receive, repair and return your system to you, all within 5 business days.
Also, a return of the system may not even be needed. Frequently, issues can be diagnosed and resolved over the phone and/or via email, very often with never having to open the chassis.
In either case, our primary goal would be resolving the issue for you swiftly, and within a time frame you are comfortable with.
Second, we appreciate your feedback and feelings regarding the system, and the fact that you encountered an issue, shortly after receiving it.
We have a very intensive Quality Assurance program in place. For example, with this configuration, no fewer than 8 people perform QA on it, before it ships. It starts in the warehouse with the team member who gathers together the parts for the build team. They double-check that the components are correct, before supplying them to the next team.
The Build Team consists of four members, each of which re-verifies the components and their condition (no blemishes on the chassis, color is correct, graphics card is correct, etc.) as the computer is assembled. After all four agree that the assembled system is accurate to the order and meets our stringent quality standards, it is moved forward to our Integration and Testing Team.
During its stay with Integration and Testing, the Operating System (if any) is installed, along with drivers for the various components. The various optimal hardware and software settings are made, and the system as a whole is stress-tested. Once passing these stages, the Integration and Testing Team again checks the physical configuration, to make certain that everything is in its proper place, and that no accidental scratches have been introduced to the finish on the chassis, etc.
The system now moves to the Quality Assurance Team. Photographs of each system – external, internal, and of any accessories – are taken and archived, and the system is again checked against the order, for component accuracy, along with blemishes, fingerprints, etc. Once the system is confirmed to be correct and in the pristine condition we require, it moves to the final team, Packaging and Shipping.
In Packaging and Shipping, any protective internal packaging is added (such as additional support for some graphics cards, while in transit). Also, the system is given a thorough and final cleaning/wipe-down, to eliminate any stray dust or fingerprints. During this time, it is once again checked for condition. When it passes inspection, it is packaged, and shipped.
And even with all of the above, there are those rare occasions where a system encounters an issue, whether due to something in the configuration, or introduced during transit or after receipt.
The simple truth is that any physical product – regardless of brand, function, materials, cost, etc. – has a failure rate.
We do what we can to minimize these issues, by choosing high quality components, and the steps mentioned above.
And when, even after all this, a system unfortunately develops an issue, we stand behind it, helping our customers with professionalism and a true concern for their happiness and satisfaction.
There are many that own this configuration, and as can be seen by the other reviews, the vast majority are very happy with it.
Thank you again, isyfrisco - we hope to hear from and help you, and to add you to that very happy majority!

Excellent Gaming Desktop With The Proper Build...

Time for some honesty. The first Cyberton CLX Gaming Desktop, I purchased, stopped working properly two hours after plugging it in and setting it up. The PC began rebooting and shutting down repeatedly and even rebooted during the full PC Reset and corrupted the Windows 10 OS.
I packed it up and returned it to Best Buy only after I used my cellphone to record the PC malfunctioning which I showed to the Returns Rep. Also, the mouse that came with the PC had something large rattling around inside it.
I looked to purchase a different brand but other brands were higher in price and had less features so I exchanged the PC for the same model, hoping for the best.
After getting the second Cybertron Gaming Desktop home and unpacking it, I was astounded! It came with Wifi and Bluetooth which it originally shouldn't have! A much stronger graphics card, a huge MSI Duke Branded OC 1080TI Nvidia Graphics Card with 3 fans, 3 additional chassis fans and 1 exhaust fan. The first PC came with a cheap looking Acer Nvidia graphics card with 1 fan and no bluetooth or wifi. Maybe the the company added bluetooth and wifi to the second PC for my troubles with the first PC.
NOW, I CAN'T BEGIN TO EXPRESS HOW HAPPY I AM WITH THE REPLACEMENT CYBERTRON CLX GAMING DESKTOP! IT HANDLES PC GAMES FLAWLESSLY, HAS A PROCESSOR AUTO OVERCLOCK FEATURE WHICH MAXES TO 4.5Ghz FROM THE 3.3Ghz BASE SPEED! HAVE NOT HAD A SINGLE ISSUE WITH THE SECOND PC AND HAVE BEEN USING IT EVERYDAY ON AVERAGE 12-16 HOURS A DAY, PRODUCING YOUTUBE VIDEOS FOR MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL, "AUDIO VISUAL PROOF". I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT THE SECOND PC BUT I CAN HONESTLY SAY, "YES, I RECOMMEND THIS PC.", WITH THE RIGHT BUILD!

Switching computers was not fun, but so far (seven months now), I've been very pleased with the performance of this machine. During shipping a main connection had come loose, but a tech came to my house and quickly found it. Tech was very knowledgeable and very nice.

Worst company I have dealt with yet. Read TL;DR if this is too long for the average review reader to care, its at the very bottom of post.
I was deceived into thinking this company was going to be great, given they build there higher end pc's per order. My god was I wrong. Spent this amount of money on a computer that came non functioning because windows wasn't operable for some reason. I called customer support and they said at first "I've very rarely seen a problem like this in all my time working here" making me feel confused and worried, and that" I needed a flash drive to extract windows 10 from another computer in order to continue". I was in a hurry to do this process so I'd call back later when I had more time. Turns out they're central time and they closed before I thought they did. So i managed to find a youtube video and jimmy rig my way into the system without the need to reinstall windows from another pc or laptop. And it worked, with a little time and effort, signing in was ugly because there was a ghetto deactivated account on the bottom left that read "defaultuser00000" but whatever the admin signed in great and I was fine.
Until i ran the userbenchmark tests on it. The tests were extremely lackluster for what I paid for, the memory kit was ranked poor and in the red and the meter in speed was only at 2100mhz , not to mention my ssd read and write speed being poor and in the red section as well. Called the company about this today and they said I could send it in for rma, which would most likely take weeks or run through a plethora of different processes to get it running including optimizing my drives, uninstalling my current drivers, reinstalling windows from a different laptop, as well as opening the bios to make sure Xmp was on.
Why did i just spend 3.5k on a computer only to be given a chore in return? Why is it that they advertise on their website that on the weekends every department is open when in reality only two tech representatives are present, and why was on hold with the sales department for 1 and a half hours before I threw in the towel and called the tech department again. Also why is there three departments when costumer care and the tech department are the same, because the calls are directed to tech department regardless? And if you are advertising service over the weekends why is there no supervisors to assist in more complicated tasks that 2 guys working in tech cant resolve? I was told I needed to wait 2 days until Monday till I could get definitive answers to a replacement pc through the company that was equal or lesser value of a bestbuy cybertron pc,mind you this is, after waiting 14 days to get it to begin with.
All in all I had high hopes that were shattered by a non function pc, poor service in their advertised time of operation(which is limited to literally two tech support guys on the weekends, which isn't disclaimed anywhere on there website) as well as the fact that the large amount of money I spent on this particular purchase was suppose to be for the idea that a prebuilt pc will work and function on opening, which by every means it failed. The company failed along with the product though. RMA in the holiday times could take even longer than 14days especially given the holiday manufacturing time and shipping traffic, the tech support lacked knowledge and higher authority on whether or not they could support a replacement of a different cybertron Bestbuy sku/model in exchange for the one I have that barely functions now, the sales department didn't even answer after 1 and a half hours and i even called again at the beginning of writing this review to still receive no response from the sales department. A huge price tag on a pc that isn't anything I expected it to be, along with a company that mirrors that reaction.
TL:DR
Pc did not function, they're advertising for there support is misleading and poor, and for the amount of money along with the desktop itself, there are many better deals and companies out there than this one. Would not recommend this to anyone, unless paying for chores is your thing.

Brand response from CybertronPC Customer SVC

Somewhatdone,
First, in addition to thanking you for choosing CybertronPC, we would like to sincerely apologize for the less than satisfactory experience you had with the system you received. Neither it, nor the initial support encounter, were up to our high standards. We greatly appreciate the fact that you permitted us to work with you to resolve the issues to your satisfaction.
Second, we would like to thank you for your feedback, and cover some of the points raised in it.
The Windows issue that was the cornerstone of the various concerns was a result of an exceedingly rare event that can occur during the process of prepping and sealing the O/S for the final shutdown prior to shipment. Due to the nature of the error, it isn’t something that can be tested for, as the system has gone through final shutdown, having already passed the rigorous testing required to proceed to packaging and shipment. Should the conditions that cause the issue happen to occur, it will not manifest until the next time the machine is powered up, which is not until after the customer receives it.
We apologize that the comment by our Customer Support Team Member, about having rarely seen a problem like this, caused you any confusion or worry. The fact that it so rarely occurs is why they had not seen it, and this in itself is a testament to the efficacy of our testing and integration processes.
We also understand why you may have felt that you had received a chore, instead of a system, given the need to reload the O/S, along with some other troubleshooting steps being involved, such as loading drivers, going through various steps to optimize performance, etc., that the need to reload Windows precipitated.
Please know that the intent wasn’t to give you a chore, or to inconvenience you. Instead, when on those uncommon occasions an issue causes a system to not be fully usable, our primary focus is on getting the system up and running properly, as swiftly as can be, so our customer experiences as little downtime as possible.
This is why we discuss various troubleshooting steps. However, should a customer instead desire to send the system to us to perform the troubleshooting and remedying of issues, we are happy to do this as well.
As to the reason you were on hold for so long when attempting to contact our Sales Department, it is because while the listed hours were correct, our phone system was not properly routing calls, during weekend days. Your feedback allowed us to discover this fact, and after follow-up with our phone provider, the phone system is now handling those calls properly once again.
With regards to the Customer Care and Technical Support departments being listed separately on our site, this was an oversight on our part. While in years past, this was done for call queue optimization, after extensive cross-training and education of our support teams, they were merged into a single department. Not only are our call queues still optimized, but we are able to provide better and faster support and care to our customers. Our site has been updated to better reflect this.
As to a supervisor not being available to answer questions regarding the replacement system process you had inquired about, frankly, we dropped the ball. We have multiple support staff at various locations, and even if not physically present at a given location, a supervisor is on-call during all support hours. We regret that they were not appropriately contacted at the time of your call, and have reviewed this with our staff.
We hope the above has helped to clarify some points, and shown that we do in fact, listen to our customers, and along with our high standards for system quality and reliability, take customer service and satisfaction very seriously.
Again, we thank you for allowing us to work with you, and are glad that you are now happy and pleased with your CLX system!

Computer was shipped with defective motherboard when received as was confirmed by the Geek Squad service. 3 bad memory slots. And the computer would cycle off/on repeatedly on its own until the power cable was unplugged. And Exchange delivery taking longer than original delivery. Contacting Cybertron direct was of no use.
