Long battery life works really well on an open lake or interstate

Works as advertised. They feel a little lighter than i expected.

I bought these three Cobra 2-way radios to use on a cruise ship, since communication by phone is so expensive. They worked pretty well in more open spaces but sometimes lost the signal when we were trying to communicate from our cabins. The design is very cute, which made it easier to get my fashionable sister to carry one. They come with a recharging device, which allows charging of two radios at the same time. Charging was fairly quick. The radios also can be used with three AA batteries.

These two way radios work great and sound really clear. There are two issues I have, first the range is about 1.5 miles at best. We used them in a campground which was perfect, but when we went on a hike we quickly fell out of range. The second issue is the charging cable only lets you change two radio at a time not three. Since there are three radios that seems rather stupid that you can't charge all three.

It's hard to blame Cobra for this since it applies to all walkie-talkies but it is important. You aren't allowed to use the more powerful channels in the U.S. without the appropriate FCC license (about $60 per person). The channels you can use have about a mile effective range. This will be true of all radios.

These 2-Way-Radios do exactly what we needed. We bought them to be able to communicate across a warehouse and they work perfectly. My only concern is the battery life. It could be longer. But the overall value is great.

I was slightly skeptical about the functionality of the product due to its packaging but it has actually been quite useful. The handsets are durable (although the face scratches readily) but the audio works well and voice is clear. The only setback is that the charger that is provided only charges (2) handsets at a time (not the 3 that come in the package).

Good product short range great to have 3 radios and colors too.

It's very well-priced for the features you get with this 3-pack. My wife and I had to drive across the country together, but in separate vehicles, and we used this to keep easy communication open between us. It worked really well, though definitely not the 2-mile city range that it says in the product's information. I'd say it reached about a quarter mile on highways with other vehicles and whatnot between us.

Bought these just before boarding cruise to have communication around the ship with our family and friends. It gave peace of mind having the ability to contact our children (or they contacting us) anytime. Our friends bought the same set of these 2-way radios so we could all be on the same channel. These each came with mini clips that worked with our cruise ID/ boarding pass lanyards so they didn't get lost or dropped as easily. Obviously location on ship and distance determined the clarity received. Still these were WELL WORTH the price paid!! Honestly much less expensive than paying for the wi-fi / cellular package the cruise company offered.

We bought these event though they were a little more expensive than the Uniden. These are fantastic! The range and clarity is great, with backlight, and ease of changing the volume!

Distance is acceptable but battery is a bit low especially if you use the voice activation function

We bought these for when we go off-roading. They work great out there, but we are no more than 20ft apart from each other. When we attempted to use them at about 5 miles apart, we could not hear one another. Also The battery dies rather quickly. They are great for short/close by use.

I am not a usually big fan of walkie talkie but for this value, it works. I was able to hear and speak into with ease. While it may at times pick up other people's transmission, it's expected. A very good value if you see on sale.
